Our client, a fast-growing SMS marketing platform scaling toward $100M ARR, is seeking a Senior Product Manager, Core Messaging Workflows (SMS Marketing Platform) to lead problem discovery, product strategy, and delivery across core messaging workflows. This senior role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced startup environments, enjoys turning ambiguous customer feedback into clear product direction, and can partner cross-functionally to ship impactful features at scale.
Success in this role looks like deeply understanding customer pain points, prioritizing the highest-impact opportunities, and delivering scalable product improvements that improve usability, operational efficiency, compliance workflows, and messaging performance. This person will work closely with the CPO, CTO, Engineering, and Design teams and will play a key role in shaping the future direction of the platform as the company continues its rapid growth trajectory.
Responsibilities
β’ Own product discovery, strategy, roadmap development, and execution for core workflows across the messaging platform
β’ Conduct customer research and synthesize user feedback, operational challenges, and business priorities into actionable product initiatives
β’ Develop a deep understanding of customer workflows related to campaign creation, compliance management, deliverability troubleshooting, performance tracking, and scaling messaging operations
β’ Partner closely with Engineering, Design, and executive leadership to define product requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
β’ Prioritize product initiatives using data, customer insights, and business impact analysis
β’ Write clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to support cross-functional execution
β’ Drive alignment between technical teams and business stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle
β’ Leverage AI tools and modern product workflows to improve speed, efficiency, and decision-making
β’ Monitor product performance metrics and iterate based on user behavior, customer feedback, and operational data
β’ Balance short-term execution needs with long-term product vision and scalability goals
β’ Contribute to a strong product culture centered around customer empathy, accountability, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
β’ 6+ years of Product Management experience within high-growth startup or SaaS environments
β’ Demonstrated experience owning products from discovery through launch and iteration
β’ Strong understanding of roadmap prioritization frameworks and product strategy development
β’ Experience working cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, and executive stakeholders
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions in ambiguous environments
β’ Proficiency using AI tools and modern product management workflows
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
β’ Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business and customer outcomes
β’ Experience working in fast-paced Seed to Series B startup environments preferred
β’ Background in marketing technology, workflow software, communications infrastructure, developer tools, or B2B SaaS platforms preferred
β’ Bachelorβs degree or equivalent practical experience preferred

$225,000 - $300,000 USD + Equity
