This position sits within Boeing’s Enterprise Services organization. Enterprise Services is a team of 2,500+ employees whose collective mission is to enable the build of Boeing’s products. Enterprise Services provides strategic partnership and support to all Boeing business units through multiple service towers – creating outsized impact and value across the Enterprise.

We are looking for aΒ Product OwnerΒ to support our transformation journey. The qualified candidate should be curious, looking for insights in data that can turn into actionable and measurable outcomes, and a storyteller at their core.

Position Responsibilities

Act as the primary point of contact for product-related decisions; ensure that the Data Management Office delivers the right data at the right time, with the highest business value while maintaining alignment across the various functions.

  • Collaborates with engineering, design, Quality Assurance (QA), and business stakeholders to define and communicate the product vision and roadmap

  • Maintains, prioritizes, and refines the Agile Release Train (ART) and system backlog (features, enablers, systemic improvements)

  • Defines ART objectives, acceptance criteria, and measurable outcomes.Β  Validates acceptance/readiness for system integrations and releases

  • Balances capacity betweenΒ Keeping the Lights On (KTLO)Β and new work and be able to defend value tradeoffs

  • Anticipates and identifies cross‑team dependencies and systemic risks

  • Provides quantitative inputs for metrics such as predictability, velocity trend, carryover, defect leakage, etc. and makes prioritization decisions based on value, risk, and effort

  • Advocates for investments that improve quality, flow, and agile maturity

  • Participates in sprint planning, reviews, and backlog grooming

  • Tracks product performance and recommends improvements.Β  Translates business demand for portfolios (Acquire to Retire, Source to Pay) into actionable backlog items

  • Makes critical decisions on feature prioritization based on business demand, Return on Investment (ROI), and customer feedbackΒ 

  • Defines product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities to align with organizational goals

  • Ensures the team delivers usable data products (datasets, dashboards, insights)

  • Defines requirements and accept user stories during Scrum meetings, including planning, reviews, and retrospectives

  • Makes critical decisions on feature prioritization based on market demand, ROI, and customer feedback.Β  Reviews deliverables and ensure they meet acceptance criteria

  • Builds external relationships with vendors and/or consultant parties

  • Experience in successfully driving end-to-end delivery of data and intelligence solutions, including a wide variety of mechanisms, e.g. dashboards, Application Programming Interface (APIs), real time alerts, etc

  • Experience with procurement, expense management, and treasury businesses and processes

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • 5+ years of experience in project and/or program management as related to product development

  • 5+ years of experience with Project and Product Management

  • 3+ years of experience launching new software and/or aerospace technologies and products

  • 3+ years of experience in Agile Methodologies

  • Able and willing to travel up to 20% of the time domestically

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 10+ years of experience in portfolio oversight of foundational DMO statement of work, including capacity management, portfolio-level risk management, and gated process adherence

  • 10+ years of experience in lean focal activities including but not limited to tracking lean accomplishments & KPIs

  • Experience in communicating to internal engineering and manufacturing teams, as well as internal and external executives?

  • Experience in interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to demonstrate continuous improvement mindset

  • Experience with taking problems, creating solutions, and executing to deliver value for customers

  • Proven track record of delivering data driven solutions with a customer-first mindset

  • Experience in mentoring and coaching employees

  • Experience delivering business and data analytics solutions in the manufacturing, engineering, aviation or energy sector is a plus

  • Experience in collaborating across the globe

Summary Pay Range for Senior (Level 4): $128,350 – $173,650

Summary Pay Range for Lead (Level 5): $156,400 – $211,600

For AZ; FL; MO; SC

Summary Pay Range for Senior (Level 4): $118,150 – $159,850

Summary Pay Range for Lead (Level 5): $146,200 – $197,800
