The Product Owner will play a key role in the development and rollout of GPO Connect, serving as the Product Owner for the program. In this capacity, the individual will collaborate daily with counterparts in Germany, championing Detroit's requirements through the development of user stories and wireframes.The ideal candidate will bring a well-rounded understanding of operational, manufacturing, and IT concepts, with the ability to translate business needs into practical digital solutions. Success in this role will require close collaboration with local Detroit stakeholders and global counterparts to ensure GPO Connect reflects plant needs while supporting the broader powertrain vision.

What You Drive at DTNAΒ
GPO Connect β Product OwnerΒ
- Collect requirements from GPO Connect users in Detroit and develop User StoriesΒ
- Refine User Stories in collaboration with the development teamΒ
- Test new features and communicate findings to the development teamΒ
- Lead workshops to define new applications and establish Minimum Viable Products (MVPs)Β
- Define and document GPO Connect Business Objects and Data Products within DFL Next, including structure, ownership, and intended usageΒ
- Support data governance activities to improve data quality, consistency, and usability across GPO Connect and DFL NextΒ

GPO Connect β Rollout ManagerΒ
- Lead end-user training for production departments on the GPO Connect App SuiteΒ
- Develop and maintain training materials that support consistent onboarding and long-term user adoptionΒ
- Coordinate rollout communications to keep departments informed, aligned, and prepared during deploymentΒ
- Review KPIs related to notifications and usage metrics to assess application sustainability and adoptionΒ
- Build a roadmap that plans pilots and scales GPO Connect applicationsΒ
- Collaborate with Operations and IT to support the development of visualizations outside of GPO ConnectΒ
- Exchange lessons learned and best practices with the global network of Rollout Managers and Product OwnersΒ
- Create and manage incident tickets for GPO Connect and DFL-related issuesΒ

Local Ad Hoc SupportΒ
- Provide data, support and consultation to TOS projects on digitalization initiatives and the TechLabβs toolboxΒ
- Support the DIM process by helping teams understand and apply available data from the Digital Factory Layer (DFL)Β
- Maintain regular communication with key local stakeholders across Production, IT, Maintenance, and related functionsΒ
Β
Β Knowledge You Should BringΒ
- Degree in Computer Science Engineering, Data Analytics or closely related field Β
- 2-4 years of experience in automotive/manufacturing, IT, or a related fieldΒ
- Experience in data preparation and knowledge of SQL.Β
- Experience in analyzing production and machine data.Β
- Ability to dive deep into data, back-end, and front-end topics from a Product Owner perspectiveΒ
- Strong analytical and statistical skills, with a demonstrated ability to interpret technical dataΒ
- Experience building dashboards, data models, or automated reporting toolsΒ
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersΒ
- Ability to distinguish between must-have features and nice-to-have featuresΒ
- Capacity to contribute to a global vision while satisfying local requirementsΒ
- Understanding of Agile methodology and an iterative mindsetΒ
- Open mindset and strong team player.Β
- High willingness to learn and ability to work independently.Β
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skillsΒ

- Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization toolsΒ
