Job SummaryΒ 

insightsoftwareΒ is seekingΒ aΒ Product OwnerΒ to joinΒ the Batch Processing domain within the Equity product organization. In this role, you willΒ helpΒ support and driveΒ the requirements and delivery of the batch processing capabilities that power critical equity events β€” includingΒ optionΒ exercises, RSU releases, ESPP purchases, and other high-volume participant transactions. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role that requires the ability to translate complex business processes into precise, implementable requirements.Β

Key ResponsibilitiesΒ 

ProductΒ OwnershipΒ 

  • Own andΒ maintainΒ the productΒ backlogΒ for batchΒ processing, includingΒ sprint prioritization and engineering ceremoniesΒ 

  • PartnerΒ with the Product Manager to defineΒ feature priorities across multiple quarters based on customer impact, regulatory requirements, and technical dependenciesΒ 

  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and implementation teams toΒ identifyΒ gaps and deliver best-in-class batch processing solutionsΒ

Requirements Definition & DocumentationΒ 

  • Write comprehensive Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) with detailed functional specifications, processing workflows, error handling scenarios, edge cases, and acceptance criteriaΒ 

  • Define batch job sequencing, scheduling logic, and reconciliation workflows with precisionΒ appropriate forΒ financial transaction processingΒ 

  • Conduct technical review sessions with engineering teams prior to development toΒ validateΒ requirements and surface implementation risksΒ 

  • Partner with Security and Compliance teams to ensure batch processes meet regulatory and data integrity standardsΒ

Cross-Functional CollaborationΒ 

  • Partner with other Equity Product Owners and Product Managers to ensure batch processing integrates seamlessly with adjacent modulesΒ 

  • Collaborate with Professional Services on customer implementations,Β establishingΒ best practices for efficient batch configuration and executionΒ 

  • Work with Product Marketing on feature positioning and release communicationsΒ 

  • Coordinate with Compliance and Legal teams to address regulatory considerations affecting batch event processingΒ

Customer & Stakeholder EngagementΒ 

  • Lead discovery sessions with customers and internal stakeholders to understand operational pain points and batch processing requirementsΒ 

  • Conduct demos and training sessions for customers and internal teams on batch processing capabilitiesΒ

Required QualificationsΒ 

ExperienceΒ 

  • 1+ years in product management or product owner roles, preferably in B2B SaaS environmentsΒ 

  • ProvenΒ track recordΒ of delivering complex SaaS features or platform capabilities from concept to launchΒ 

  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and prioritization skillsΒ 

  • Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities with a demonstrated aptitude for building consensus among diverse stakeholdersΒ 

Β 

Technical & Domain KnowledgeΒ 

  • Solid understanding of equity compensation events, includingΒ optionΒ exercises, RSU and PSU releases, ESPP purchase cycles, and related participant transactionsΒ 

  • Familiarity with batch processing concepts, job scheduling, and high-volume data processing in financial services or SaaS platformsΒ 

  • Understanding of reconciliation workflows and data integrity requirements for equity transaction processingΒ 

  • Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies and product management frameworksΒ

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related fieldΒ Β

Preferred QualificationsΒ 

  • CEP (Certified Equity Professional) Level 1 certification or higherΒ 

  • Experience with platform migrations, system implementations, or large-scale transformation projectsΒ 

  • 1+ years of experience in the equity management or equity compensation spaceΒ

The salary range in United States of America for this position is 99,000.00 to 124,000.00 USD Annual.

Your specific offer within this range will be determined by your skills, experience, and qualifications. For non-sales roles, you may be eligible for a bonus. For sales roles, this range includes a commission target.
