Job Summary

 A Product Owner plays a critical role in maximizing the value of the product in collaboration with the Scrum Team. To be effective in this accountability, the Product Owner must be both strategic and resilient, combining strong communication and analytical skills to drive a clear product vision. This role requires the ability to make decisive decisions, foster cross-functional collaboration, and champion continuous improvement. The Product Owner serves as a passionate advocate for both internal and external customers, ensuring the product delivers meaningful and measurable value.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a prioritized product backlog based on customer feedback and business goals
• Define and update user stories with clear acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with Product Managers to translate strategic objectives into development-ready tasks
• Act as a liaison between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring alignment and clarity
• Stay accessible to the development team to answer questions and provide guidance
• Oversee the development process, including cross-functional dependencies
• Validate that deliverables meet acceptance criteria and customer expectations
• Continuously gather and analyze market trends and user feedback to inform product decisions
• Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement
• Advocate for the customer throughout the product lifecycle

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role in an Agile environment
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skills
• Proven ability to manage stakeholders and prioritize competing demands
• Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar product management platforms
• Certification such as CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner) is a plus
