TheΒ Technology DivisionΒ is looking for an experiencedΒ Product OwnerΒ to join our team. AsΒ aΒ Product Owner, you will report to the Manager ofΒ Product ManagementΒ and promote technology outcomes to meet the needs and expectations of our business partners. In your role, you will foster dialogue and communication between multiple partners and technical experts, encourage collaboration amongst Agile teamΒ membersΒ and lead Agile team planning. Additionally, you will oversee requirements gathering and capture of user stories,Β maintainΒ a prioritized backlog, and guide sprint and release planning.Β

ResponsibilitiesΒ 

  • Work withΒ business andΒ TechnologyΒ partners to develop inspiring product visions, derived from business needs into product roadmaps that are in alignment with business and IT strategies.Β Β 

  • Interpret requirements, write user storiesΒ and work with technical teams, developers, business analysts, UX and internal constituents toΒ determineΒ the details.Β Β 

  • Be the voice of the business customer,Β identifyingΒ gaps and opportunities for new capabilities, manages backlog, andΒ prioritizingΒ work within sprints.Β 

  • Partner withΒ scrum master and technical teams toΒ participateΒ in agile ceremonies (sprint demos, retrospectives, sprint planning).Β Β 

  • Make use of release reviews, userΒ testing,Β userΒ feedback, operationalΒ and performanceΒ metrics, and analysis toΒ identifyΒ and understandΒ customerΒ needs for products.Β 

  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with relevantΒ stakeholders.Β 

  • ExhibitsΒ expertiseΒ within products’ feature areas and coordinates with interdependent teams to provide product support.Β 

  • Coordinate release activities andΒ monitorΒ product performance,Β adoptionΒ and operational health.Β 

  • Manage product documentation.Β 

  • Participate in testing as needed.Β Β 

  • Support overall activities and responsibilities of Product Management team.Β Β 

Β 

QualificationsΒ 

  • Bachelor'sΒ degree orΒ commensurateΒ experience.Β 

  • 3+Β years’ relevant experienceΒ as a product owner within an agile team environment.Β 

  • Familiarity with KanbanΒ or ScrumΒ Agile methodologies.Β 

  • MustΒ exhibitΒ strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative style and can share technical ideas and approaches with others.Β Β 

  • Experience usingΒ JiraΒ is a plus.Β 

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner certification is a plus.Β Β 

  • Travel (5%)Β 

  • Lesser experience can be considered forΒ lower levelΒ roleΒ
