Job Description

The Product Marketing Manager will contribute to the development of content across the full buyersโ€™ journey, with the majority of focus on mid- to bottom-of-funnel sales collateral pieces. This role will work closely with other members of the marketing team as well as teams across Appcast, including product development, sales, strategy and customer success, to ensure that our products are positioned effectively in the market and our sales team is enabled for successful selling. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, extensive collaboration, and creative execution. This person will be a key contributor to our marketing team as they support Appcastโ€™s growth goals and transform how great companies find great talent.ย 

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders in Product, Platform, Strategy and Sales to build deep product knowledge and leverage in marketing strategies and campaignsโ€ฏย 
  • Lead Go To Market (GTM) strategy for new product launches or features, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and subject matter experts and managing GTM execution with marketing teammatesย 
  • Contribute to collateral development - Develop market-facing materials (e.g., PowerPoint decks, product roadmap decks) with strong value messaging and storytelling that transcends our market-facing digital properties (e.g. website); create sales materials including external one pagers and internal training materialsย 
  • Own case studies and testimonials - Identify potential testimonials and case study sources, interview customers to collect relevant details, and write the case studies/craft testimonials for customer review and signoff โ€ฏย 
  • Contribute to the development of a full-funnel content strategy that drives engagement and leads across all channelsย 
  • Understand our customersโ€™ problems and needs; assist with developing and then continuously evolving our buyerโ€™s personas; use data to inform decisions.โ€ฏโ€ฏย 
  • Monitor and maintain competitor intel and battlecards as needed to enable sales teamsย 
  • Support international sales growth and partnership marketingย 
  • Manage presence on third-party review and community sites, such as G2ย 
  • Collaborate with internal and external design resources as well as subject matter expertsย 
  • Assess the effectiveness of the product marketing programs, tools (G2), and technology (Mindtickle) that support Appcastโ€™s GTM efforts on an ongoing basisย 

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated excellence collaborating cross-functionally with team members across a matrixed organizationย 
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and project management skills, with a proven ability to multitask and manage multiple projects of varying complexities simultaneouslyย 
  • Editorial mindset that seeks to continuously understand what resonates best with our audience and the best content type/channel for communicating itย 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skillsย 
  • High level of positive energy, drive, curiosity and commitment; must be a self-starter with strong time management skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.ย 
  • Ability to develop a project plan, create reasonable project scopes and set reasonable deadlines for those involved; manages projects to on-time completion with quality goals met.ย 
  • Awareness of /interest in HR tech industry preferredย 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in marketing, advertising, business management or similar is preferredโ€ฏโ€ฏย 
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in marketing role at a B2B companyย 
  • Experience creating compelling content and collateral for sales teams (including pitch decks)ย 
  • Experience developing/contributing to GTM plans for new/enhanced productsย 

Travel Requirements

  • Travel may be required as necessary for this positionย 

Expected Salary Range: $78,500-$130,500
