Product Manager

Position Summary ​

The Product Manager of User Experience is responsible for the overall user experience on LivingSpaces.com. Will own the functionality improvements and continuous conversion optimization efforts. Will ensure that third party services like our Chat, Search, PIM and DAM are being leveraged to provide our customers with the best possible shopping experience.

Position Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.Β  Other duties may be assigned.Β 

  • Develop a vision and roadmap for the product based on input from internal stakeholders, business needs, market research and their own industry insight
  • Represent the e-commerce team and work closely with IT, Merchandising, Guest Services and other teams to deliver experiences that align with this vision, meet business needs and are delivered at a consistently high-quality standard
  • Utilize web analytics to drive product development and improve the website user experience
  • Partner with multiple stakeholders, manage stakeholder relationships and prioritize stakeholder requests to manage projects in a timely manner
  • Manage the product throughout its lifecycle from concept to end-of-life
  • Collect, manage and maintain traceability of requirements from all stakeholders across product releases
  • Write the business case for investments and gain internal approval
  • Write Product Requirements documents
  • Perform user acceptance testing to ensure the quality and successful launch of the product
  • Work with internal stakeholders and third parties to assess and establish partnerships
  • Be the recognized expert in the business on the product, the market, relevant technology and the competition
  • Perform product demos to relevant departments effected by the new product or service
  • Monitor, report and improve product performance
  • Collate feedback from business partners and customers
  • Represent the voice of the customer in senior level management meetings
  • Evangelize the product internally and externally
  • Stay plugged in to emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
  • Drive our A/B testing efforts on the website with an eye on optimizing our conversion rates

Qualifications

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B. S.) or equivalent from four-year college in Business, Finance, or Mathematics.Β  4-5 years of experience in e-commerce or digital marketing experience.Β  Involvement with omni-channel retails is a plus.Β  Core skillset in requirement writing, quality assurance, site merchandising, or related tasks. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have strong Excel and data visualization skills. Experience in Microsoft Office programs and Google Suite products is a must.Β  Experience navigating and interpreting web analytical tools (i.e. Google Analytics). Strong project management skills via Jira, PivotalTracker, or similar project tracking software.

Position Hiring Range

The hiring pay range provides a guide for what we would reasonably pay for the position.Β  Pay will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to: applicant’s education, relevant work experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data. Living Spaces reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Pay is determined by various factors including market demand, applicable skills, work experience and education, location, company budget, and in-demand skill sets.

Compensation: $85,500.00 - $114,000.00

Retail, Guest Services, and Distribution Center Team Members are eligible to receive team bonus based on meeting specific goals and KPI’s.Β
