DescriptionWe are seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead flagship community initiatives for Oracle Analytics, including the global Oracle Analytics Data Visualization Challenge and the launch and growth of Oracle Analytics User Groups.
In this highly visible role, you will be responsible for end-to-end program execution, from design and legal approvals to participant engagement, communications, event logistics, and post-event analysis. Youβll collaborate with internal stakeholders across product management, development, product strategy, product management, marketing, compliance, and executive leadership as well as with customers, partners, user group leaders, and the broader analytics community.
Your leadership will ensure successful delivery of large-scale competitions, proactive community engagement, and strategic integration of user feedback into the Oracle Analytics Cloud, Oracle Analytics Server, and Fusion Data Intelligence offerings. Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of the Oracle Analytics Data Visualization Challenge, ensuring seamless collaboration with legal, compliance, marketing, and development to secure approvals, finalize datasets, coordinate prize distribution, and oversee judging and training processes.
- Manage the end-to-end execution of event logistics for the Data Visualization Challenge, including tenancy provisioning, participant registration, dataset approvals and uploads, submission management, winner communications, and legal requirements such as affidavits and taxation.
- Promote Data Visualization Challenge winners and participants through featured blogs, webinars, social media campaigns, video interviews, and digital badges, working closely with marketing and community teams to drive engagement and demand generation.
- Maintain and grow the Data Visualization Gallery and Forum, facilitating monthly increases in high-quality submissions, and serving as a point of connection for participant support and best practice sharing.
- Lead the launch, growth, and ongoing management of Oracle Analytics User Groups, including creating and regularly updating the Community User Group webpage, and delivering content, training, and events relevant to group needs.
- Build strong ongoing relationships with Analytics User Group leaders globally, ensuring alignment, timely sponsorship distribution, and active participation in Oracle and user-led eventsβincluding handling travel approvals and logistics for speakers.
- Engage with customers, partners, students, and employees to gather insights, drive meaningful engagement, and represent the needs of the global analytics community through focus groups, webinars, live events, and digital outreach.
- Define clear objectives, requirements, and success criteria for all community programs, systematically capturing and synthesizing feedback to inform Oracle Analytics product roadmaps and company-wide best practices.
- Drive go-to-market strategy and execution for all community and competition initiatives, partnering with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, legal, executive sponsors, development, service excellence) to ensure high visibility, compliance, and participant satisfaction.
- Present ongoing strategies, progress, metrics, and key results to senior leadership, securing executive alignment and sponsorship for major initiatives such as the Data Visualization Challenge and Community Tours.
- Oversee communications schedules and participant touchpoints (including registration, onboarding, guidance, and program updates) using Oracleβs internal marketing tools and processes (e.g., Eloqua, GMSS, Marketing Template Builder).
- Partner with development and product management to ensure top community-driven requirements, dataset feedback, and innovation requests are reflected in future releases and product guidance.
- Track and analyze community and program success using defined KPIs, participant metrics, feedback surveys, and event outcomes, implementing process improvements and sharing best practices across the Oracle Analytics organization.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracleβs differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position.
