About Job

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Product-Led Growth (PLG) & Growth Loops

  • Design and execute PLG strategies to drive self-serve adoption, activation, and viral expansion across crowd workers, domain experts, and enterprise clients
  • Build and optimize growth loops β€” referral mechanics, certification sharing loops, time-to-first-value optimization, and community-driven acquisition β€” to compound user growth without paid spend
  • Own the full activation funnel from signup through first task completion, identifying and eliminating every drop-off point
  • Design onboarding flows that minimize friction, defer unnecessary steps, and get users to their activation moment as fast as possible
  • Establish and track North Star metrics (activation rate, D7/D30 retention, referral rate, time-to-first-payout) and drive continuous improvement

User Engagement & Retention

  • Apply consumer engagement principles β€” recommendation systems, personalization, gamification, progress mechanics, notifications β€” to drive habitual platform usage
  • Lead user research, journey mapping, and behavioral analytics to identify friction points in onboarding, engagement, and retention
  • Design intuitive user experiences that balance simplicity for crowd workers with power-user capabilities for enterprise stakeholders
  • Partner with designers (or work independently) to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that communicate product vision

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Partner with AVP of Product to define platform roadmap balancing foundational fixes with innovation and competitive differentiation
  • Analyze competitive landscape across AI data platforms, gig workforce tools, and consumer engagement products β€” identify opportunities to win
  • Translate business objectives and user insights into compelling product narratives and strategic initiatives
  • Build business cases and prioritization frameworks (RICE, ICE, impact/effort) to guide roadmap decisions

Experimentation & Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Design and execute A/B tests and multivariate experiments at scale to validate hypotheses and optimize user experiences
  • Define KPIs and success metrics for all product initiatives; build dashboards providing real-time visibility into platform health and funnel performance
  • Use SQL, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or equivalent tools to analyze user behavior and translate data into high-impact product decisions

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate with engineering, design, data science, recruitment, delivery, operations, and client teams to ship high-quality features on aggressive timelines
  • Influence stakeholders across recruitment, delivery, sales, and customer success to align on product priorities and drive adoption
  • Build trust with distributed engineering teams (including global development centers) through clear communication and stakeholder management
  • Partner with marketing and go-to-market teams to position product capabilities and drive user acquisition

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience

  • 5+ years of product management experience at consumer-facing platforms or high-growth B2C products
  • Proven track record scaling products to millions of users β€” required; must demonstrate specific examples with metrics
  • Direct experience with B2C user engagement growth: activation funnels, retention loops, viral mechanics, and recommendation systems
  • Background at high-growth consumer platforms, B2C marketplaces, or gig/workforce platforms strongly preferred
  • Experience with two-sided networks, marketplace platforms, or crowd/workforce management systems preferred

Skills & Expertise

  • Product-led growth (PLG): Deep understanding of growth loops, activation funnels, onboarding optimization, retention tactics, referral mechanics, and viral growth
  • User engagement: Experience applying recommendation systems, personalization, gamification, and notification strategies to drive habitual usage
  • Experimentation & analytics: Hands-on A/B testing at scale; SQL required; Amplitude/Mixpanel preferred
  • User experience design: Strong product sense, ability to evaluate and influence design decisions; familiarity with Figma or Sketch
  • Competitive intelligence: Ability to analyze competitor products, identify market trends, and translate insights into product strategy
  • Stakeholder management: Exceptional communication skills; ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership

Technical Acumen

  • Comfortable working with engineering teams on technical product decisions
  • Understanding of APIs, system architecture, and data flows
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, recommendation systems, and LLM-based products (nice-to-have)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Design, or related field
  • Experience at high-growth consumer engagement platforms or fast-scaling B2C marketplaces
  • Background in gig economy, crowd workforce, or on-demand marketplace platforms
  • Experience in AI data, annotation, labeling, or crowd workforce platforms
  • Experience launching 0β†’1 products or leading platform redesigns
  • Familiarity with international/global product launches and localization
  • Background in operations-heavy products (logistics, fulfillment, marketplace operations)
