As a Product Manager inΒ the Office ofΒ CTO you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end life cycle that encompasses ourΒ open source softwareΒ use at the firm. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer β in this case our developers, both internal and external, and developing platforms they use to consume and contribute to open source. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of the products developers use, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier developer experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed our internal and external developer customers' expectations.Β

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:Β
Β
5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
Fluent in open source license, open source licensing terms; strong knowledge of fundamental concepts of open source intellectual property legal and licensing concepts; fluent in all things Git and GitHub, knowledge of Git is a must
Understand the fundamentals of Software Bills of Materials, software supply chain, and software security
Good organizational and prioritization skills, detail-oriented, strong interpersonal and influencing skills
Ability to foster partnerships across lines of business to achieve goals and quality results in high-pressure, rapidly changing environment requiring flexibility and adaptability to changeable directives
Excellent written/verbal communication and presentations skills targeting various stakeholders and senior managementβ―Β
Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics; proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
Β
Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:

Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
Some experience coding or developing software or working with data-processing languages or tools including Python, SQL, etc.
Familiarity with contribution tooling, CI/CD tools, andΒ GitHub
Sufficient data engineering and Python development skills to help create and improveΒ open source dashboards and reportingβ―Β
Comfortable Β working in and around the financial services industry a plus; prior experience working in a bank or similar institution strongly preferred, should understand what it means to work in a highly regulated industry
Comfortable with the "working backwards" process, writing PR FAQs, Agile, Jira, Scrum experienceβ―
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or similarβ―Β
