This role offers a unique opportunity to lead the development and enhancement of a consumer-facing lending product that serves millions of users. You will be responsible for designing and executing experiences that make borrowing simple, transparent, and scalable, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams across engineering, design, legal, and retail partnerships. Your work will directly impact user adoption, engagement, and financial empowerment, while balancing technical feasibility, regulatory requirements, and business priorities. This position blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution, offering visibility and influence over a high-impact product in a fast-growing, mission-driven environment.
Accountabilities
- Own and drive key lending product experiences, from in-app balance and repayment flows to checkout integrations and wallet/merchant functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify pain points, define product requirements, and deliver features that optimize user experience while maintaining sound lending fundamentals.
- Maintain and prioritize your segment of the product roadmap in alignment with broader launch and business objectives.
- Make data-driven decisions based on metrics such as conversion, engagement, and repayment rates to improve product performance.
- Translate complex technical, business, and partner requirements into actionable user flows, tickets, and clear communications for stakeholders.
- Ensure the product scales effectively for tens of millions of users, delivering seamless experiences across app and point-of-sale channels.
- Partner with legal, compliance, and business teams to ensure products meet regulatory and operational standards.
Requirements - 7+ years of experience in product management, technical product management, or a closely related role.
- Proven ability to balance customer needs, technical constraints, and business objectives to deliver high-impact solutions.
- Strong collaboration and servant leadership skills, motivating teams without direct management authority.
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders, including engineering, design, legal, compliance, and business teams.
- Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills to assess product performance and guide prioritization.
- Strong communication and executive presentation skills, able to clearly convey ideas and gain alignment on initiatives.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and solution-oriented with demonstrated ability to execute at a high level in a fast-paced environment.
