Job Summary:

A brilliant opportunity exists for an outstanding individual capable of fitting into this very rewardingย Component Product Managerย role. As the market leader in professional server solutions, Supermicro is looking to hire someone who can bring added value to the team. This is a fast moving, emerging business, and successful candidates will be able to move and adapt quickly to changing needs, manage multiple initiatives, engage at all executive levels both inside Supermicro and with partners, and have a proven record of developing products as well as business model from the ground up. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate collaboration between vendors and internal product teams to drive the development of new products and emerging technologies.
  • Conduct market and industry research to support future product development initiatives.
  • Demonstrated product management experience across the full product lifecycle, including prioritization, concept development, launch, and end-of-life.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Evaluate inventory strategies and recommend corrective actions to optimize stock levels and reduce excess inventory.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred qualifications include a bachelorโ€™s degree; an MBA or advanced degree in a technical field is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in leading cross-functional teams, with a strong preference for backgrounds in product management.
  • Detail-oriented and able to effectively prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with server and workstation hardware business models is a plus. Candidates should be highly detail-oriented and capable of effectively prioritizing in high-pressure environments.
  • Fluent oral and written communication in Mandarin is a plus.

Salary Range

$85,000 - $110,000ย 

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
