TheΒ Product Manager IIIΒ is responsible for managing one or more product categories.Β Responsibilities include maintaining product life cycle, developing 5 year multi-generation product roadmaps, conducting competitive benchmarking exercises, identifying and filling product gaps, leading cross-functional teams to develop new products, leading projects through stage-gate PDP product development process, managing product cost and profitability, leading product cost-reduction activities, conducting voice of customer exercises, monitoring and adapting product portfolio strategy to changing industry regulations and market trends, leading product commercialization efforts, providing marketing support for product training, sales training, promotions, pricing and product literature.Β
This position will serve ourΒ US AirΒ Division, located inΒ Fort Smith, AR.Β
Bachelor degree in marketing, business management, engineering or related field
7+ years of experience in Product Mgmt., Marketing, Sales, or Engineering related fields
5+ years of experience with New Product Development Process of engineered products
3+ years of experience with data analysis including statistical and uncertainty analysis.
3+ years of experience in reading, analyzing and interpreting technical procedures and standards
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.
Demonstrated ability to work well with others in a matrix team environment.
Demonstrated project management and team leadership skills.
Strong analytical, organization, time management and multiβtasking skills.
Highly energetic and a self-starter.
Ability to think outside the box to offer new ideas, concepts, solutions, etc.
Capable of maintaining sensitive/confidential information.
Engineering or marketing background with industry experience preferred.
Ability to extensively travel internationally without restrictions.
