Description

As an Individual Contributor, this role supports the management of consumer loan products and related initiatives by assisting with product activities, maintaining reporting, and contributing to updates that enhance product performance. The role gathers and organizes information related to market conditions, portfolio performance, and sales channel feedback to support product decision-making.



Responsibilities

Product Manager I

•    Product Support and Maintenance: Assists in managing consumer loan products by maintaining product information, monitoring features and pricing, and supporting updates to ensure alignment with market conditions and customer needs. 
•    Competitive and Portfolio Reporting: Prepares recurring reports that summarize competitive positioning, sales activity, and portfolio trends, and compiles findings for review by management. 
•    Project Support: Supports product-based initiatives by coordinating tasks, maintaining documentation, and tracking progress using established project management practices. 
•    Channel Feedback Collection: Coordinates with sales channels to collect feedback on product performance, customer needs, and sales opportunities, and shares information with appropriate stakeholders. 
•    Marketing and Training Assistance: Assists in developing product materials, sales aids, and training content to support product promotion and front-line understanding. 
•    Performs other responsibilities and duties as assigned.

Product Manager II 

•    Product Management: Manages consumer loan products by analyzing product features, pricing, and performance, and implementing updates that improve competitiveness and customer experience. 
•    Performance Analysis and Reporting: Analyzes competitive, sales, and portfolio data to identify trends and provides recommendations to improve product and channel performance. 
•    Business Planning Support: Contributes to the development and ongoing management of the annual plan by preparing analyses, tracking progress against objectives, and supporting updates based on performance results. 
•    Project Implementation: Coordinates and implements product-based projects by managing timelines, tracking deliverables, and communicating progress and key updates to stakeholders. 
•    Sales and Marketing Enablement: Develops and maintains product materials, sales tools, and training resources to support product promotion and channel effectiveness. 
•    Performs other responsibilities and duties as assigned.

Product Manager III 

•    Product Management and Enhancement: Manages product performance by evaluating features, pricing, and market conditions, and implementing enhancements to improve competitiveness and customer outcomes. 
•    Advanced Analysis and Insights: Analyzes competitive, sales, and portfolio data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and develops recommendations to improve product performance. 
•    Business Planning and Review: Contributes to the annual plan by developing recommendations, monitoring performance, and supporting updates based on business results and changing market conditions. 
•    Cross-Functional Project Leadership: Leads product initiatives by coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, and ensuring alignment of deliverables with business objectives. 
•    Sales Enablement and Training: Develops product strategies, materials, and training programs to support sales channels and improve product understanding and execution. 
•    Performs other responsibilities and duties as assigned.

Product Manager IV

•    Product Strategy and Direction: Leads the development and execution of product strategies by evaluating market conditions, defining priorities, and implementing enhancements that improve product performance and competitiveness. 
•    Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Oversees the analysis of product, sales, and portfolio performance to identify trends and recommend actions that improve growth and profitability. 
•    Business Planning Leadership: Leads development and ongoing management of the annual plan, including setting priorities, tracking performance, and supporting adjustments based on results and business needs. 
•    Program and Initiative Leadership: Leads complex product initiatives by coordinating stakeholders, managing timelines, and ensuring delivery of intended outcomes. 
•    Sales and Channel Enablement: Develops and implements product strategies, tools, and training programs that support sales effectiveness and product adoption across channels. 
•    Performs other responsibilities and duties as assigned.

 



Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field. Equivalent work experience or certification(s) may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Level is dependent on years of experience and size/complexity of prior positions held. 
    • Product Manager I: Minimum 1 year of experience in product management support, marketing, project coordination, or financial analysis in a banking or financial services environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications. Intermediate knowledge and skill proficiency in business acumen, communication, customer experience, financial acumen, laws and regulations, meeting facilitation and presentation, product management, and technology literacy. Basic knowledge and skill proficiency in leadership and message production. Demonstrated ability to organize work, manage multiple assignments, and communicate clearly in both written and verbal formats. Ability to compile and interpret data accurately and assist with financial calculations related to consumer lending products.
    • Product Manager II: Minimum 3 years of experience in product management, marketing, project management, or financial analysis in a banking environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications. Advanced knowledge and skill proficiency in financial acumen. Intermediate knowledge and skill proficiency in business acumen, communication, customer experience, laws and regulations, leadership, meeting facilitation and presentation, message production, product management, and technology literacy. Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and communicate insights effectively. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate with stakeholders across functions.
    • Product Manager III: Minimum 5 years of experience in product management in banking, including project management, marketing, and financial analysis responsibilities. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications. Advanced knowledge and skill proficiency in communication, customer experience, financial acumen, laws and regulations, meeting facilitation and presentation, message production, and product management. Intermediate knowledge and skill proficiency in business acumen, leadership, and technology literacy. Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop actionable recommendations and communicate findings to a range of stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple initiatives and coordinate efforts across teams to achieve business goals.
    • Product Manager IV: Minimum 7 years of experience in product management in banking, including project management, marketing, and financial analysis responsibilities. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications. Advanced knowledge and skill proficiency in business acumen, communication, customer experience, financial acumen, laws and regulations, leadership, meeting facilitation and presentation, message production, and product management. Intermediate knowledge and skill proficiency in technology literacy. Strong ability to manage complex work across multiple stakeholders, translate business needs into product actions, and communicate effectively. Demonstrated understanding of consumer lending products, pricing structures, and portfolio performance.
