About the RoleΒ
Weβre looking for a Commercial Product Manager to lead the customer-facing software strategy for our flagship offering: Fault Detection & Localization (FD&L). This includes owning the roadmap for our dashboard, APIs, and outbound alerting systems (email, SMS, and voice).Β
Youβll work across engineering, field operations, customer success, and external utility stakeholders to make sure Gridwareβs core insights are delivered clearly, confidently, and in a way that drives adoption and trust.Β
This is a high-impact role at the heart of Gridwareβs go-to-market motion, and a unique opportunity to help define what βmonitoring as a serviceβ looks like in the utility industry.Β
Responsibilities
Lead the evolution of our flagship product delivery experience. Own the roadmap for our customer facing dashboard, alerting workflows, APIs, and reporting infrastructure.Β
Translate insights into action. Ensure utility users can understand and act on the data we provideβacross dashboards, alerts, and integrated tools.Β
Build for scale. Evolve early-stage products into configurable, repeatable, and trusted delivery mechanisms that support larger deployments.Β
Partner with engineering. Write product specs, prioritize sprints, and work closely with design and engineering to ship high-impact features.Β
Drive alignment across teams. Work cross-functionally with Customer Success, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure our products meet customer needs and internal goals.Β
Own key metrics. Define and track adoption, engagement, and utility operational outcomes for our software experiences.Β
Required Skills
5+ years of experience in product management, preferably with exposure to B2B or enterprise SaaSΒ
Experience owning delivery of high-clarity, high-reliability data products, ideally in complex or regulated domains (utilities, energy, hardware/software hybrids, etc.)Β
Strong instincts for actionable UX.Β You know when to simplify, when to ask questions, and how to ship value without overbuildingΒ
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams through ambiguity and growthΒ
Comfortable talking to utility stakeholders, from dispatchers to engineers to executivesΒ
Strong communication and documentation skills; you bring structure to chaosΒ
Bonus: Experience working with alerting systems, enterprise APIs, or operations toolsΒ
