Lead the product vision and strategy for payment authentication with concentration on technologies like 3DS (3-D Secure, and related emerging technologies) Lead the integration and launch of new local card schemes, ensuring compliance with regional regulations and payment network requirements. Drive the implementation and optimization of advanced authentication solutions, including 3DS to enhance security and reduce fraud. Analyze card payment and authentication performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance conversion rates and customer satisfaction. Collaborate closely with engineering, product, legal, and business teams to define requirements, develop solutions, and ensure successful deployment. Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in payments and authentication, and propose innovative solutions to deliver the best possible customer experience


  • 5+ years of experience in the payments industry, with a focus on card payment authentication. This includes deep understanding of authentication protocols and technologies, such as, EMVCo 3DS specification.
  • Experience with integrating and launching new local card payment methods in different regions.
  • Ability to think strategically and implement tactically, a persistent attention to detail, and a high level of comfort in cutting through ambiguity
  • Outstanding analytical capabilities, business savvy, and leadership skills.


  • Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and deliver end-to-end payment authentication experiences, from strategy through launch and iteration
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate vision, strategy, and details to diverse business partners
  • Ability to analyze payment data to find opportunities for optimization
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience


At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $172,100 and $305,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
