JOB SUMMARY: The Product Manager is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining E. B. Bradley Co./West Coast Laminating product line, specifically the Luxe and Cleaf product line. This position works closely with members of the marketing department, sales and specification department, sales support and operations to ensure continuity in product offering and Company goals. The Product Manager is also responsible for adhering to and promoting the Company values by performing duties in a manner that is consistent with being a team leader and supports the growth of the Company.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Direct and perform all aspects of product development, product changes and product promotions, including development procedures, specifying components, product positioning, pricing, catalog and sell sheet copy, and training aides primarily focusing on the Luxe and Cleaf products, and all other product lines based upon customer needs
- Provide the highest level of internal and external customer service
- Regularly visit customers for face-to-face meetings, collaborate and coordinate with Specification Reps and/or Outside Sales Reps to jointly visit external customers to review product line, introduce new products, develop and strengthen customer relationships
- Manage and communicate sales information and product changes both internally and externally
- Create and prioritize product features/requirements based on customer input, internal capability, competitive considerations, etc
- Regularly perform pricing and competitive analysis by customer channel and recommend strategies to improve market position, improve quality or reduce costs
- Assess and evaluate impact of new products, including investment needed and expected volume impact
- Establish and maintain relationships with vendors in order to have variety of products, delivery on time, maintain established stock ratio, and competitive pricing
- Attend and/or participate in domestic and international trade shows
- Performs other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor degree in business administration or equivalent
- At least five years of procurement experience preferably within a similar industry
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to talk, hear and drive
- May require sitting for long periods of time
- This position is semi-active and requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching throughout day
- Must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Majority of all work is performed at customer and/or vendor sites which may require that work be done in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Other work is performed within a standard office environment
- This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, calculators, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines
TRAVEL:
- 90% of time traveling local, domestic and international; 10% of time in office setting
