Position DescriptionΒ Β
NCARB is seeking an experienced and user-focused Product Manager to join our Information Systems team. As Product Manager, you will lead the ongoing development and growth of Lineup Management, LLC, working closely with a small team of developers, as well as sales and client management teams, to deliver intuitive, impactful solutions that advance Lineupβs mission and drive business growth. The ideal candidate combines strong product management expertise with a deep understanding of user experience design and a passion for building products.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesΒ
Assist the AVP of Product in developing and executing the product strategy, ensuring that it aligns with the Councilβs mission, vision, and goals.Β
Product Ownership: Own the full product lifecycle for Lineup, from ideation and strategy to launch and continuous improvement.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with engineering, sales, and client management teams to align on product vision, roadmap, and delivery. Communicate with stakeholders, senior leadership, and team members on product updates, timelines, and progress to ensure that productplans align with business goals and expectations.
User Experience: Champion user-centered design by conducting user research, synthesizing feedback, and ensuring the platform delivers a seamless, engaging experience. This includes creating designs for new features and product enhancements.
Agile Development: Lead agile ceremonies, write stories, prioritize the product backlog, and ensure timely, high-quality releases.
Stakeholder Engagement: Gather requirements and feedback from internal and external stakeholders, translating insights into actionable product enhancements.
Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to inform product strategy and maintain Lineupβs competitive edge.
Sales & Client Support: Partner with sales and client management to develop go-to-market strategies, support onboarding, and drive customer success. Develop and maintain product documentation, such as product requirements, user guides, and release notes.
Metrics & Reporting: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and inform decision-making.
Diversity & Inclusion: Advocate for inclusive product design and volunteer management practices that support NCARBβs mission.

Qualifications

BS/BA degree or equivalent experience required.
3+ years of product management experience, ideally with SaaS platforms or B2B products.
Demonstrated expertise in user experience (UX) design, including user research, prototyping, and usability testing.
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
Technical depth that enables you to communicate with our development teams and discuss and respond to impacts and tradeoffs. Understanding of frontend web frameworks such as Angular or React a plus.
Proven track record of managing entire product life cycle.
Excellent communication skills are a must.Β This role interfaces with engineers, marketing, sales, QA, stakeholders, and senior leadership.Β You will be expected to communicate effectively at all levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience working in an Agile team (Scrum, Lean, Kanban).
Understanding of database architecture (including SQL) a plus.
Ability to work independently, and multi-task with minimal supervision
