Job Description

This role is responsible for the complete lifecycle management of nuclear reactor products from conception through delivery. The Product Manager develops and executes comprehensive product strategies, leading cross-functional initiatives from initial business case development through design, manufacturing, and deployment. They serve as the primary product owner, ensuring alignment between market needs, business objectives, and technical execution while maintaining compliance with nuclear industry requirements.

Job Profile Tasks/Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive business plans for new products or product modifications, including market analysis, sales projections, feasibility studies, and competitive analyses.
  • Create and maintain product roadmaps that align with company strategy and market opportunities.
  • Manage product backlog and prioritize features based on business value, technical constraints, and stakeholder needs.
  • Define and continuously refine the PLM product vision, aligning it with business strategy and digital-thread maturity goals.
  • Translate high-level client objectives into actionable product roadmaps and prioritized feature sets.
  • Lead the end-to-end PLM implementation lifecycle from requirements discovery through configuration, integration, deployments and post-deployment adoption support.
  • Serve as the primary product advocate to internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership, investors, customers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing and supply chain teams to establish data flows that support production processes and quality controls.
  • Monitor product performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain professional demeanor and behavior at all times in all forms of communication.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
  • Manage cross-functional agile teams to deliver releases that achieve business outcomes.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between executive sponsors, business owners, and technical delivery teams.
  • Communicate complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders with clarity and business relevance.
  • Facilitate decision-making on configuration vs. customization, balancing business value, risk and maintainability.
  • Establish KPIs, success metrics, and feedback loops to track PLM adoption and continuous improvement.
  • Champion data governance, change control, and configuration management standards.
  • Ensure alignment with compliance, regulatory, and security frameworks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

Job Profile Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or related field from an accredited university.
  • Typically, ten years of professional experience in technical product development environments, with progressive responsibility in technical and project management roles.
  • Experience leading highly technical product development initiatives from concept through production.
  • Advanced experience in successful product launches in highly regulated industries such as nuclear, aerospace, defense, or similar fields.
  • Experience with technology maturation and transition of hardware from development to production environments.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute product strategies that balance technical, business, and regulatory requirements.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) configuration management, and digital twin/digital thread concepts.
  • Exposure to enterprise data fabrics, analytics, and AI-assisted engineering productivity tools.
  • Experience with Siemens Xcelerator tech stack including configuration, customization oversight, and deployment of core modules.
  • Proven ability to bridge mechanical, electrical, and systems engineering domains within the PLM stack, enabling multi-disciplinary collaboration and end-to-end digital continuity.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles to drive usability and adoption across diverse users communities.
  • Experience architecting and governing integrations between Teamcenter and ERP and MES systems, particularly around EBOM-MBOM synchronization, materials master alignment, and engineering change workflows.
  • Demonstrated success in harmonizing data flows and business processes across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain functions to ensure the engineering intent translates cleanly into manufacturing execution and enterprise operations.
  • Understanding of integration middleware and their role in achieving real-time digital thread synchronization.
  • Passion for continuous improvement, leveraging lessons learned from past implementations to evolve governance, maturity models, and roadmap prioritization.

Compensation
