- Subject matter expertise in:
- PO and Invoicing: integrations and workflows
- EDI & CXML protocols
- Punchout functionality
- eProcurement Punchout catalogs, Hosted catalogs
- Direct experience with P2P eProcurement systems such as Yardi, Real Page, Coupa, Oracle, etc. is a huge plus
- Understanding of or familiarity with software commonly used in eProcurement integrations such as Alloy, OpenText
- We leverage two integration systems (Webspan and Alloy) on the Open Text side for eProcurement Punchout and EDI transactions. Both systems can support Punchout, cXML and ANSI X12 transactions, but Alloy supports Credit Card (PCard) integrations.
- In addition to the above, we also have an internal homegrown eProcurement system that supports both Punchout and cXML transactions.
- Familiarity with technical challenges related to eProcurement such as API limitations or data format discrepancies, complex user acceptance testing across internal and external partner teams and stakeholders including data setup and timing coordination
- Familiarity with contributing to or owning creation of SOPs for both internal and external audiences spanning technical and business focus objectives
- Itβs a plus if a candidate has a basic understanding of SAP OTC (order to cash) process. We leverage both SAP CRM (Customer Master) and ECC (Central Component core) to support our eProcurement processes.
Job Summary

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
- Develops a deep understanding of customer and associate needs to inform product decisions.
- Translates business goals and user needs into product strategy, communicating direction and priorities to stakeholders.
- Establishes and monitors key metrics to assess product value, continuously refining the roadmap based on insights.
- Conducts end-user research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and guide product development.
- Aligns product initiatives with company priorities and stakeholder expectations to drive business values.
- Creates, prioritizes, and manages epic-level stories, integrating user research and testing to refine assumptions and hypotheses.
- Collaborates with engineering, user experience, and other teams to resolve obstacles optimize product performance, and translate complex technical concepts into non-technical language for stakeholders.
- Represents the end user by advocating for their needs and ensuring an exceptional product experience.
Nature and Scope
- Demonstrates skill in data analysis techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information and inconsistencies/anomalies in more complex research/data.
- Nature of work requires increasing independence; receives guidance only on unusual, complex problems or issues. Work review typically involves periodic review of output by a supervisor and/or direct customers of the process.
- May provide general guidance/direction to or train junior level support or professional personnel.
Work Environment
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Education and Experience
- Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 2-5 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 2-4 years of experience in a related field. Certification is required in some areas.
