Eka Robotics
Eka Robotics is on a mission to build intelligence for the physical world - robots that are fast, general, and reliable. Our approach, grounded in physics, unlocks superhuman capabilities. We are defining the frontier of robotics research and deployment.
Our team consists of pioneers in robotics and machine learning. We are now hiring to scale our R&D effort. We are looking for hands-on individuals who are excited to help shape the future of robotics.
Role Overview
As a Product Manager, you will be the primary link between our customers, the market, and our world-class engineering team. You will define the "What" and the "Why" of our products, turning the vision of human-like dexterity into a concrete product roadmap. You will spend your time deeply understanding customer pain points in the field and working with engineering to determine how our unique technology can solve them reliably and at scale.
Responsibilities
Market & Customer Intelligence: Engage directly with potential customers to identify unmet needs and high-value opportunities for robotic manipulation. Translate "on-the-ground" observations into actionable product insights.
Product Roadmap: Own the product roadmap. Prioritize features and hardware developments based on market demand, technical feasibility, and Ekaβs long-term mission.
Requirement Documentation: Write detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) that provide clear guidance to the engineering team, ensuring every feature has a defined user value and success metric.
Technical Feasibility: Partner closely with the R&D and Engineering teams to evaluate whether existing technology supports market needs or if new developments are required to hit performance targets.
Competitive Analysis: Stay ahead of the robotics landscape, understanding emerging trends in dexterous manipulation to maintain Ekaβs pioneer status.
Go-to-Market Support: Work with leadership to define pricing, positioning, and certification requirements (Safety, IP, etc) for different industry verticals.
Qualifications
Experience: 3-5+ years of Product Management experience, with a strong preference for the robotics, automation, or deep-tech hardware sectors.
Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to synthesize complex customer feedback into a structured, prioritized product roadmap.
Technical Fluency: Ability to engage in deep technical discussions with hardware and software engineers. You should understand the constraints of actuators, sensors, and AI-driven control systems.
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for writing clear, unambiguous PRDs and presenting to both executives and customers.
Education: BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. An MBA is a plus but not required.
