About the Role

We’reΒ looking for a Principal Product Manager to lead the strategy, evolution, and growth of our subscription plans and tiering ecosystem, as well as new monetization opportunities.Β 

You’llΒ help drive the vision and roadmap for plans, packaging, and pricing-adjacent experiences, helping ensure we deliver the right products and features to customers. This role sits at the intersection of consumer behavior, growth strategy, monetization, and product experience.Β 

The ideal candidate combines strong product instincts with analytical rigor and has deep experience driving growth in subscription, marketplace, or consumer technology businesses.Β 

What You’ll Do

  • Define and execute the long-term strategy for subscription plans andΒ tiering, andΒ evaluate new monetization opportunities.Β 

  • Drive plan portfolio evolution across tiers and plans, including students plans and emerging offeringsΒ 

  • Build differentiated experiences tailored to distinct consumer segments, behaviors, and willingness-to-pay profilesΒ 

  • Partner with Pricing, Finance, Data Science, and Other Product teams toΒ optimizeΒ ourΒ offering.Β 

  • Translate user insights, market trends, and behavioral data into clear product opportunities and prioritization decisionsΒ 

  • Define success metrics and own experimentation frameworks to evaluate customer and business impactΒ 

  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, Research, and Analytics teams to deliver high-impact customer experiences at scaleΒ 

  • Balance customer value, revenue outcomes, operational complexity, and platform scalability in product decisionsΒ 

  • Influence executive stakeholders with clear communication, strategic thinking, and data-informed recommendationsΒ 

  • Stay current on industry trends across streaming, subscriptions, creator ecosystems, and digital consumer productsΒ 

What We’re Looking For

  • 10+ years of product management experience building and scaling consumer-facing digital productsΒ 

  • Strong experience in subscriptions, monetization, growth, pricing & packaging, membership programs, or marketplace ecosystemsΒ 

  • ProvenΒ track recordΒ driving measurable business outcomes such as subscriber growth, conversion, retention, engagement, or revenue expansionΒ 

  • Deep understanding of experimentation, A/B testing, customer segmentation, and lifecycle optimizationΒ 

  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data to inform product strategy and prioritizationΒ 

  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives across Product, Engineering, Design, Analytics, Finance, and MarketingΒ 

  • Ability to simplify complex problems and align teams around a clear product visionΒ 

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience presenting to senior leadershipΒ 

  • Customer-obsessed mindset with strong product intuition and attention to user experience detailsΒ 

  • Experience working in streaming, media, entertainment, SaaS, fintech, marketplaces, or subscription-based businesses is strongly preferredΒ 

Nice to HaveΒ 

  • Experience managing multi-tier subscription ecosystems across international marketsΒ 

  • Familiarity with pricing strategy, promotions, billing systems, or commerce platformsΒ 

  • Experience with personalization, recommendations, or machine learning-driven growth systemsΒ

The hiring range for this position in San Francisco, California is $206,400 to $276,700 and Los Angeles, CA is $171,600 - $230,100 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
