This role leads the vision, delivery, and continuous improvement of a large-scale data sharing platform serving enterprise-grade reporting needs. It combines strategic product leadership with deep technical execution, translating complex architectures into high-performance, secure, and user-friendly capabilities. Working at the intersection of engineering, data architecture, and security, you will drive platform adoption through robust APIs, metadata-rich schemas, and always-on reliability. You’ll play a pivotal role in enabling compliant, scalable data delivery across the business while ensuring operational excellence. Accountabilities
- Lead the complete product lifecycle for the Data Sharing Platform, from concept through production, ensuring each release meets strict technical, operational, and security requirements.
- Define and oversee system design, data models, and API specifications, balancing scalability, latency, cost, and maintainability.
- Translate architectural vision into actionable backlogs, delivering iterative, high-quality releases with measurable impact.
- Establish SLAs, performance benchmarks, and operational runbooks to ensure reliability and observability.
- Collaborate with engineering to resolve incidents, reduce technical debt, and optimize performance.
- Define schemas, access controls, and sharing mechanisms that enable consistent, compliant data delivery across multiple teams.
- Partner with API consumers to validate usability and performance, ensuring seamless integrations.
- Engage with internal stakeholders and external customers to translate requirements into impactful platform features.
- Continuously improve scalability, automation, and performance while staying ahead of emerging platform technologies.
Requirements - 8+ years in technical product roles such as data platform product manager, software engineer, or data architect, with proven experience in agile delivery, large-scale system design, and API development.
- Strong technical expertise in data warehousing (e.g., Snowflake), data sharing technologies, distributed systems, and cloud-native architectures.
- Hands-on experience in data modeling, schema versioning, and enterprise-grade data governance.
- Deep understanding of performance optimization, monitoring, instrumentation, and incident management for data platforms.
- Proven track record of delivering secure, reliable, and performant platform capabilities.
- Ability to engage directly with engineering teams, make informed trade-offs, and overcome technical challenges.
- Exceptional communication skills for bridging technical and non-technical audiences.
- Adaptability and resilience in fast-paced, high-ambiguity environments with a strong bias for action.
Benefits - Competitive base salary: $166,500 – $222,700 USD for US-based candidates (varies by location outside the US).
