To that end, we are looking for a Principal Product Manager to drive our next wave of innovation focusing on mitigating risk associated with Microsoft business processes and operations. This will involve closely partnering with teams across Microsoft, driving prioritization around mitigating security risk, and driving the design and delivery of key technical capabilities that accomplish that. Core Responsibilities: 

• Develop product roadmap for solutions that enable risk mitigation across key areas of Microsoft business
• Work with engineering, operational, and business teams to align on priorities, KPIs, and milestones needed to achieve our roadmap. This includes working across multiple different organizations given the tech stacks in play.
• Develop functional requirements, specs, and other content needed for engineering teams to deliver on the product roadmap
• Regularly present to executives, covering the impact that this work is having on threat hunting and mitigation

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree AND 8+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management or software development 
  • OR equivalent experience 
• 2+ years of experience with data analytics platforms such as Azure Data Explorer, Spark, or equivalent
• 4+ years of experience engaging with both engineering and operations teams and communicating with executive leadership
• 4+ years of experience successfully aligning multiple organizations on a common vision and strategy, and the ability to overcome ambiguity and uncertainty to do that

Other Requirements:

• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: 
• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
  • OR equivalent experience. 
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity in high-scale environments
• 5+ years of experience working with engineering and leadership teams to define and implement security requirements.

Product Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.
