About the Role

We’re seeking a Sr Product Manager who can bridge data products and modern marketing platforms to power customer acquisition, personalization, lifecycle engagement, and marketing measurement.

In this role, you will serve as the single point of contact (SPOC) for Marketing’s data and analytics needs while shaping the roadmap for Marketing data products and MarTech platforms. You will partner closely with Data Architecture, Engineering, Analytics, and Marketing teams to deliver governed, scalable data capabilities that enable customer engagement, growth, and measurement across the marketing ecosystem.

What You'll Do

Product Strategy for Marketing Data & PlatformsΒ 

  • Lead product strategy for Marketing data products andΒ MarTechΒ capabilitiesΒ 
  • Define and deliver domain data products such as customer attribute stores, business feeds, segmentation capabilities, campaign tracking, and marketing dashboardsΒ 
  • Translate marketing and businessΒ objectivesΒ into clear product requirements, data models, and success metricsΒ 
  • Prioritize roadmaps that improve customer engagement, personalization, and acquisition performanceΒ 

Marketing Data OwnershipΒ 

  • Serve as the primary product lead for Marketing’s data and analytics needsΒ 
  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of Marketing data requests including requirements gathering, governance alignment, engineering coordination, analytics definition, delivery, and adoptionΒ 

Data Platform & Analytics EnablementΒ 

  • Align Marketing data products with the broader enterprise data architectureΒ 
  • Develop durable, reusable domain datasets that support analytics and self-service BIΒ 
  • Standardize KPI definitions and reporting frameworks across marketing analyticsΒ 

Data Governance & ComplianceΒ 

  • Promote consistent metric definitions, lineage tracking, and service-levelΒ objectivesΒ for Marketing data productsΒ 
  • Partner with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure responsible and compliant use of customer dataΒ 

Platform Integration & Ecosystem DesignΒ 

  • Define integration patterns across theΒ MarTechΒ stack including tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, CDPs, partner data feeds, and advertising platformsΒ 
  • Guide platformΒ selectionΒ and integration with the enterprise data platformΒ 

Product Delivery & ExecutionΒ 

  • Lead planning and delivery across the product development lifecycle including PI planning and sprint planningΒ 
  • Sequence strategic initiatives and tactical enhancements while managing risks, dependencies, and cross-team coordinationΒ 

Measurement & Continuous ImprovementΒ 

  • Define and evolve success metrics including campaign velocity, data availability SLAs, KPI consistency, data product reliability, and platform adoptionΒ 
  • Evaluate emergingΒ MarTechΒ and data platform capabilities to improve marketing analytics, experimentation, and audience activationΒ 

About You

  • 8+ years of product management experience in data-intensive environmentsΒ 
  • Experience owning or managing data products and marketing technology platformsΒ 
  • Strong understanding ofΒ MarTechΒ ecosystems and integration patterns including ESP or journey orchestration platforms, CDPs, identity and audience platforms, and partner integrationsΒ 
  • Working knowledge of modern data architectures and data lifecycles including raw, transformation, and consumption layersΒ 
  • Experience driving data governance initiatives and navigating privacy or regulatory considerations such as GDPR or CCPAΒ 
  • Proven ability to collaborate with Data Architecture, Data Engineering, and Analytics teamsΒ 
  • Strong communicationΒ and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across technical and business teamsΒ 
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; or equivalent work experienceΒ

  • Practical experience with SQL or BI toolsΒ 
  • Familiarity with experimentation and marketing measurement frameworksΒ 

Work Location
San Francisco

The above locations are eligible offices for this role.Β The locations have been determined to foster in-person collaboration with this role’s team or the related business lines. We utilize a hybrid work model, and our teams are in-office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. In-person attendance is essential for this role’s success, and remote placement will not be considered.Β LendingClub offers relocation, based on actual job level.

While the position will primarily work local hours, LendingClub is headquartered in Pacific Time and our ideal candidate will be flexible working across time zones when necessary.


Travel Requirements
As needed travel to LendingClub offices and/or other locations, as needed.

Compensation
The target base salary range for this position is 176,000-207,000. The base salary of the role will be determined by job-related knowledge, experience, education, skills, and location. Base salary is just one part of LendingClub’s Total Rewards package. You may also be eligible for long-term awards (equity) and an annual bonus (which is based on company performance, employee performance and eligible earnings).
