Junior Civil Engineer

We are currently seeking a Junior Civil Engineer with at least 2 years of experience to join a growing Napier team.

About the role

You will be a passionate Civil Engineer with approximately two years’ professional experience. Ideally, you will have exposure to 12D; however, experience with any 3D design package is essential. You will bring strong report writing skills and, most importantly, a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and genuine enthusiasm for the civil engineering industry and your own professional development.

You will ideally bring:

• A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering
• At least two years’ relevant professional experience (preferably within New Zealand)
• Exposure to the technical aspects of land development and/or civil infrastructure projects
• CAD capability (12D preferred but not essential)
• Contract administration experience (desirable but not required)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• A good understanding of Territorial Authority standards and Codes of Practice
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
