Job Summary:

Our Client is seeking to hire a Head of Product / VP of Product who is a servant-leader, thrives in fast-paced environments, and isn’t afraid to get hands-on. This role is central to their product and client operations, overseeing ERP integration and providing cross-functional product leadership. The individual in this position will play a pivotal role in translating real business needs into scalable solutions, while also building and leading a team capable of delivering with speed and excellence.

Job Responsibilities:

Define & Drive Product Vision

  • Set and own the product strategy, ensuring it aligns with client needs, market opportunities, and technical capabilities.
  • Translate feedback into product priorities that balance speed, scale, and innovation.

Lead Cross-Functional Execution

  • Partner with engineering, support, sales, and operations to deliver a world-class product experience.
  • Act as the bridge between teams ensuring a seamless handoff from sales to onboarding to support.

Build Strategy & Technical Depth

  • Bring technical fluency to product discussions: APIs, ERP integrations, payment workflows, and system architecture.
  • Work closely with engineering to ensure feasibility and clarity in product delivery.

Own Key Metrics & Product Outcomes

  • Define and track success metrics across onboarding, adoption, performance, and client satisfaction.
  • Leverage these insights to refine and prioritize the roadmap.

Explore & Grow AI in the Product Stack

  • Collaborate with the team to identify smart, meaningful ways AI can enhance client experiences whether through automation, predictive features, or internal tooling.
  • You'll help evaluate where AI fits best, and work with technical teams to experiment responsibly.

Build & Lead a High-Performing Product Team

  • Hire and mentor product managers and solution owners as the company scales.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Lead by example - jumping in when needed, coaching with humility, and celebrating wins together.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience leading product in a B2B FinTech or payments environment, ideally in a startup or high-growth phase.
  • Strong understanding of payment systems, money movement, and ERP integrations.
  • Technical fluency - you’re not coding daily, but you can confidently engage in architectural and API conversations.
  • Experience leading across functions - you’ve partnered with Sales, Support, and Engineering to launch client-facing products.
  • Exposure to AI concepts, or a strong interest in learning how AI can drive better product outcomes.
  • A track record of building teams, navigating ambiguity, and creating real customer impact.
  • A servant-leadership approach - you’re hands-on and focused on enabling your team and company to win.
