GA Telesis’s Flight Solutions Group (FSG) is seeking a self-motivated and results-driven Senior Director to lead sourcing and inventory management across the company’s product lines. Located at the company’s headquarters in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Senior Director will be centrally responsible for the strategic direction, as well as operational and financial performance, of the company’s product lines, including engine, airframe, power, and landing gear solutions.
*While open to Senior Directors, this role may be considered at the VP level based on the experience and demonstrated capabilities of the candidate and/or according to a defined growth path.

Key Responsibilities
  • Centrally manage the company’s inventory management activities, providing leadership to product line members, MRO, and other commercial team members, and interfacing cross-functionally (Sales, Pricing, Finance, etc.) and externally (suppliers, MRO, vendors, andΒ customers)
  • Lead the development and operationalization of commercial strategy (product development, asset integration, lifecycle management, fulfillment, growth planning, etc.) in support of the company’s financial and strategic goals
  • Manage the commercial organization’s operational efficiency, including tracking (turn times, quoting volume, cost controls and efficiency goals, supplier performance, backlog etc.) and driving performance improvement through process discipline, standardization, automation, and other workstreams
  • Act as the program manager of commercial workflows, ensuring projects are correctly prioritized, tracked (appropriate KPIs and timelines in place), and supported
  • Lead the performance management of product line and other team members, ensuring alignment and supporting the achievement of defined goals
  • Work closely with the CCO to broadly support commercial success, including managing key organizational goals, deadlines, workstream, communications and overseeing projects to completion.
  • Develop proficiency working with the company’s data platforms and contribute to the scope and automation/efficiency of the Commercial team’s data pipeline and analytics.
  • Be a key source of data-driven insights and subject matter expertise that support the company’s operational and strategic decision-making.
Requirements
  • 5–7 years of experience in commercial operations, business operations, project management, or product coordination roles, preferably in the aviation or aftermarket industry.
  • Skill and experience leading teams, developing talent, and cross-functionally working in fast-paced, technical environments; experience central leading an organization or multiple teams in coordination is a plus.
  • Strong project management skills including experience leading, coordinating, and executing projects and/or programs with high business impact
  • Strong communication, presentation, and reporting skills at all organizational levels; ability to communicate complex analysis in a clear, intuitive manner.
  • Proficient at translating strategic direction into actionable plans/workstreams and ensuring execution follow-through
  • Active user of Microsoft applications, (Excel, PowerPoint, Planner, etc.) and proficient with project management platforms (Smartsheet, Asana, etc.)
  • Exceptionally well-organized and detail-oriented
