Job Title: Graduate Engineer
Location: Luton
Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Term: Permanent, Full-Time

We are a well-established and forward-thinking engineering business based in Luton, operating across multiple sectors with a strong focus on quality, innovation, and service. We are currently looking for a Graduate Engineer to join our team in a diverse and hands-on role that offers a broad introduction to engineering operations and best business practices.

The Role:

This is a unique opportunity for a recent engineering graduate to gain exposure to multiple facets of an engineering organisation. You will work closely with various teams — from purchasing and scheduling to customer liaison and departmental planning — to support and coordinate the smooth running of our engineering operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and coordinating engineering department activities.

• Work across teams to understand workflows, schedules, and business needs.

• Support purchasing processes and supplier communications.

• Liaise with customers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of projects.

• Help streamline operations through process improvements and documentation.

• Gain insight into day-to-day management of engineering projects and support functions.

What We’re Looking For:

• A recent graduate in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or similar).

• Strong organisational and communication skills.

• Interest in both technical engineering and business operations.

• A proactive and flexible approach to learning and problem-solving.

• Confidence in working with people at all levels across departments.

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office; familiarity with planning or ERP systems is a bonus.
