We operate globally, supporting projects located the UK, Europe, Asia, Australia, and North America. We currently employ staff of over 160, most based in the UK and Denmark but also in offices in Taiwan, South Korea, Japan and Poland. 


We are in search of an ambitious Graduate Structural Engineer to join our Primary Structures department from September 2026. The primary work location will be in one of our UK offices, either in Bristol, Edinburgh or London. You may expect some travelling in Northern Europe in relation to your work. Opportunities for short- or long-term assignments abroad may also be available.


The Team

You will join the Primary Structures Department who specialise in developing monopiles, jackets and floating foundations, supporting projects from early screening through to detailed design and lifecycle delivery.


Our integrated approach combines aero-elastic, hydrodynamic and seismic load assessment to deliver robust, cost-optimised and high-quality solutions across all structural forms.


Areas of Responsibility: 

  • Develop and deliver design of primary steel structures for fixed offshore wind turbine foundations (both monopile and jackets).
  • Contribute towards and develop your competences in offshore structural steel design.
  • Collaborate and contribute as a key part of the structural design team to deliver world-class renewable energy projects.
  • Use your programming skills and/or finite element capabilities to enhance current designs or build new models providing a state-of-the-art designed product to the client.
  • Use your knowledge to prepare detailed engineering reports and technical notes documenting engineering analyses and recommendations and contribute to the development of the overall project programme, budget and risk registers.
  • Take part in, or be responsible for, the development of in-house engineering software applied for structural design.


Required Experience & Qualifications 

  • Master’s degree in civil engineering (e.g. MEng, MSc or equivalent),
  • The ability to see engineering problems within their wider context,
  • Great collaborative problem-solving skills
  • Proactivity and the ability to work independently,
  • Appetite to challenge the status-quo and push boundaries,
  • Excellent English and report writing capabilities.


Beneficial / Desirable Experience 

  • Interest in design of steel structures for offshore structures.
  • Knowledge of offshore design codes such as DNV-ST-0126, Norsok N-004, ISO 19902 and Eurocode 3
  • Strong programming skills
  • Experience with LaTex for reporting.
  • Have experience with and interested in performing 3D FE for structural analysis.
