AI Product Manager
We're assisting a startup in the lending space with their search for a founding product manager.  They're building an AI CFO agent that operates across a brand's entire financial stack — managing deductions, handling email workflows, working with accounting and banking data, and more. This PM role will own this product.
 
What you'll do:

  • Own the surface area of the AI CFO agent product: features, workflows, UI states, copilot behavior

  • Drive customer discovery: sit in calls with CPG founders and finance teams, watch them work, translate observations into design specs

  • Sketch tool calls, review UI states, and shape agent behavior alongside engineers in the repo daily

  • Ship light engineering and design tasks directly when speed matters (Claude Code, Claude Design, comparable tools)

  • Coordinate across sales, customer-facing, and engineering teams to translate customer pain into shipped features

  • Build and ideate on internal admin workflows that heighten the company's process velocity

What you'll bring:

  • High agency, highly communicative, systems-based thinker

  • Desire to work in close proximity to engineering

  • Willingness to do light engineering and design tasks (Claude Code, Claude Design, comparable)

  • Deep AI-native fluency: uses Claude, Cursor, agent frameworks, or comparable tools daily

  • "Flash" signal: evidence of high-slope, scrappy work. Examples: shipped side projects, GitHub portfolio at a top university, hackathon wins, college startup, or comparable.

Nice to haves:

  • Technical background or undergraduate CS / Engineering degree

  • Familiarity with agent infrastructure, LLM tool calling, or Claude Code-style architecture

  • Interest in CPG, lending, or small business finance verticals
