As we look to the future, AI is central to our growth strategy, and we are looking for a visionary leader to shape and drive our AI product strategy across the entire product suite. We are a mission driven company that is passionate about helping nonprofits change the world by driving high impact innovation in a space that’s ready for transformation.

Position Summary:

As Director of AI, you will own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI across our platform. This is a pivotal role that sits at the intersection of technology, product innovation, and social impact.

You’ll be responsible for identifying high-impact opportunities to integrate AI/ML into our products, delivering AI-powered products and features that help nonprofits fundraise smarter and work more efficiently. You’ll work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and our nonprofit customers to bring compelling AI solutions to marketβ€”solutions that our customers love and that are responsible, ethical, and mission-aligned.

What You’ll Do:

  • Craft the AI Vision & Strategy: Develop and champion a forward-looking, inspiring AI product vision aligned with company strategy and a deep understanding of customer needs. In addition to driving customer adoption and impact, our AI products need to also provide significant revenue uplift.Β
  • Own the AI Product Roadmap: Define, prioritize, and drive execution on a clear roadmap for AI-powered features and products across the platform. Champion a data-informed approach to investment decisions, aligning roadmap features with revenue, retention, and profitability targets.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Execution: Partner with engineering, data science, design, and GTM teams to deliver high-quality, AI-driven capabilities. This includes identifying powerful use cases and working with engineering to evaluate different potential solutions as part of a multi agent framework.
  • Drive Innovation: Stay ahead of AI trends, especially in generative AI, machine learning, and predictive analytics, identifying new opportunities to create value for nonprofits.
  • Engage with Customers: Collaborate with users to deeply understand their needs, translate them into product opportunities, and validate ideas and concepts.
  • Champion Ethical AI: Ensure our AI solutions are trustworthy, transparent, and aligned with the values of our nonprofit customers.
  • Communicate & Inspire: Clearly articulate and champion the AI vision internally and externally, generating excitement and alignment across teams and stakeholders.

About You - Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven AI Product Leader: 7+ years in product management, including 3+ years building and launching AI/ML-powered products at scale.
  • Strong Technical Acumen: Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, architectures, and technologies; able to engage credibly with engineers and data scientists.
  • Strategic Thinker: You see the big picture and can connect the dots between emerging AI capabilities and customer value.Β
  • Excellent Communicator: Able to tell compelling stories that bring AI possibilities to life, whether you're talking to a customer, exec, or cross-functional team.
  • Customer-Centric: Passionate about understanding and serving nonprofit customers, with a deep sense of empathy and mission alignment.
  • Execution-Oriented: Experience aligning product strategy with financial targets and business outcomes. You know how to move from strategy to shipped product, with a strong focus on outcomes and learning.Β
  • AI Ethics Advocate: Aware of the implications of AI and committed to building responsible, inclusive technologies.

Bonus Points:

  • Familiarity with CRMs, ERPs, or fundraising technology.
  • Experience launching products on Salesforce, Agentforce or Bedrock.
  • Background in computer science, data science, or a related technical field.
Compensation Range: $240,000–$260,000 OTE (On Target Earnings) USD annually, based on experience, market benchmarks and role complexity. We aim to offer fair, competitive pay that reflects your skills and the market.
