Job Description:
This job is responsible for supporting data and technology requests, complex reporting and analysis, and modeling to manage risk and minimize credit and operating losses. Key responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing portfolio trends, supporting the development of more complex databases or queries to extract data, and supporting the production of data for internal and external reporting needs. Job expectations include working with Technology to implement changes necessary to support ongoing data needs.
Job Summary:
Effective credit risk management and reporting contributes to providing a clear understanding of current and emerging risks at Bank of America, and to proactively manage risk across the enterprise. The Credit Risk Data Strategy & Execution team sits within Enterprise Credit & Global Banking Risk and is responsible for managing data and technology change in close partnership with peers in Risk, Technology, Finance, Front Line Units and other partners to deliver integrated Credit Risk data and reporting capabilities. Β All of this ensures the bank can deliver responsible growth within our risk framework.Β
The Credit Risk Data Strategy & Change Execution Product Owner (PO) is responsible for maximizing the value delivered by the Credit Risk Platform (CRP) and other technology application teams through strategic product ownership, business partnership, and Agile execution. This role serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, including Risk Analytics & Reporting, Data Management, Technology, Model Development, Finance, and Regulatory teams to define and prioritize capabilities that support the bank's credit risk management objectives.
The PO is accountable for implementing the product roadmap, translating business requirements into actionable user stories, managing the product backlog, and ensuring technology delivery teams produce solutions that improve risk decisioning, portfolio monitoring, regulatory compliance, data quality, operational efficiency, and executive reporting.
The successful candidate is equally comfortable discussing risk strategy with senior executives, reviewing portfolio analytics with model developers, and collaborating with technologists and principal engineers about technical implementation decisions. This individual combines strong business acumen, credit risk expertise, data literacy, and Agile leadership skills to drive measurable business outcomes.
