Civil Engineer
We have an opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer to join our Rotorua office, supporting a diverse portfolio of transport and civil infrastructure projects across Rotorua and the wider Bay of Plenty region.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer who’s looking to broaden their technical and project delivery skills while working closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
Key responsibilities include:
Contributing to the investigation, design, and delivery of civil engineering projects across transport, land development, and water infrastructure.
Preparing designs, drawings, reports, and contract documentation.
Supporting project management activities, including programming, cost estimates, and contract administration (NZS 3910).
Liaising with clients, contractors, councils, and internal teams to deliver quality outcomes
Applying NZ standards, with exposure to MSQA and site supervision
Supporting continuous improvement in safety, quality, and client service
About you
A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
3-5 years’ professional experience in civil design and project delivery
Experience using Civil 3D and AutoCAD
Knowledge of NZ standards and design practices
Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach
A current, clean driver’s licence
