Civil Engineer

We have an opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer to join our Rotorua office, supporting a diverse portfolio of transport and civil infrastructure projects across Rotorua and the wider Bay of Plenty region.

ย 

This is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer whoโ€™s looking to broaden their technical and project delivery skills while working closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

ย 

Key responsibilities include:

ย 

  • Contributing to the investigation, design, and delivery of civil engineering projects across transport, land development, and water infrastructure.

  • Preparing designs, drawings, reports, and contract documentation.

  • Supporting project management activities, including programming, cost estimates, and contract administration (NZS 3910).

  • Liaising with clients, contractors, councils, and internal teams to deliver quality outcomesย 

  • Applying NZ standards, with exposure to MSQA and site supervisionย 

  • Supporting continuous improvement in safety, quality, and client service

About you

ย 

  • A Bachelorโ€™s degree in Civil Engineeringย 

  • 3-5 yearsโ€™ professional experience in civil design and project delivery

  • Experience using Civil 3D and AutoCADย 

  • Knowledge of NZ standards and design practices

  • Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach

  • A current, clean driverโ€™s licenceย
