The Shock Trauma Acute Pain Management team at the University of Maryland Medical CenterΒ provides comprehensive care for patients experiencing acute pain, particularly those related to trauma.Β They utilize a multidisciplinary approach, including both pharmacological and non-pharmacological pain management strategies, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Β
