The Strategic Initiatives group focuses on driving and managing key projects and initiatives that align with the organization's long-term strategic goals and transformation.Β  The Program Manager in the Strategic Initiatives group is responsible to:

  • Assist the project sponsor and functional department owners to develop the business case and proposal for new initiatives
  • Be accountable for delivering each program's expected outcomes
  • Ensure the framework and approach of the Strategic Initiatives organization is properly leveraged
  • Work with and direct project managers and teams in the course of executing on strategic initiatives
  • Overcome program risks and navigate issues and escalations to return programs to Green health status
  • Ensure transparency and appropriate program insights through reporting and other communication vehicles for consumption by senior leaders and stakeholders

Required skills and qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in program management role, specifically in business operations of technology companies
  • Exceptional skills in leadership, facilitation, business transformation, organization, and change management
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and manage expectations
  • Proven track record of managing programs from inception to completion
  • Ability to analyze complex problems, develop solutions, and make data-driven decisions
  • Strong organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks
  • Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate teams
  • Awareness of industry standards and best practices related to technology project management
  • Proficiency in project management and desktop productivity applications (e.g. Smartsheet, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Sharepoint)
  • Ability to effective communicate ideas and information in a presentation format

Preferred skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and relevant work experience
  • Project Management certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Master Project Manager (MPM), etc.
