Company Description

Our client is a fast-growing, venture-backed cybersecurity company building an AI-first application security platform designed for the modern software era. Their technology helps security and engineering teams identify, prioritize, and remediate the most critical risks in complex codebasesβ€”ranging from legacy systems to modern cloud-native and monorepo architectures.

Backed by top-tier investors and founded by experienced entrepreneurs, the company operates with the speed and ownership mindset of a high-growth startup while tackling some of the most challenging problems in application and software supply chain security.

This is an opportunity to join a category-defining company at a pivotal stage and play a key role in shaping products used by engineering and security teams at scale.

What You Will Do

  • Own one or more core product areas end-to-end, from product strategy and roadmap definition through execution and go-to-market support.

  • Lead the development of AI-first security capabilities across areas such as container security, software composition analysis, supply chain security, and malicious package detection.

  • Partner closely with engineering, design, product marketing, sales engineering, and customer success to deliver enterprise-grade product experiences.

  • Engage directly with customers and prospects to understand real-world problems, validate solutions, and recruit design partners.

  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear product requirements, user stories, and prioritization frameworks.

  • Use qualitative insights and quantitative data to measure product success, identify opportunities, and continuously improve outcomes.

  • Drive the full product lifecycle, from early ideation to launch and post-launch iteration.

Ideal Candidate Background

  • 5–10 years of experience in product management for B2B enterprise software.

  • Prior experience working on cybersecurity, developer tooling, DevOps, or infrastructure products.

  • Strong technical foundation, with the ability to collaborate deeply with engineering teams and understand complex systems.

  • Experience owning products end-to-end in high-growth or startup environments.

  • Comfortable in a highly customer-facing role, including discovery calls, demos, and feedback sessions.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.

Preferred

  • Background in engineering, sales engineering, or another technical role prior to product management.

  • Experience with AI-powered products, container security, cloud security, or software supply chain security.

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes and tools such as Jira.

  • Experience working with enterprise customers and security-focused buyers.

Compensation, Benefits, and Other Details

  • Base Salary: $160,000 – $200,000 (depending on experience)

  • Equity: Competitive pre-IPO stock options

  • Employment Type: Full-time

  • Work Model: Hybrid (3 days per week onsite in Palo Alto, CA)

  • Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage, along with standard startup benefits

  • Hiring Timeline: Actively hiring
