Senior Product Manager

The Senior Product Manager at Vytal is responsible for maintaining and growing its industry leading Vytal Integrated Data Platform which is comprised of facility and clinical asset management, capital project management, sustainability, and real estate services modules. The person in this role will translate and communicate the product vision across teams and will collaborate with stakeholders to define product requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria and produce a clearly defined backlog. The Senior Product Manager will champion solutions and prioritize requirements to deliver the best value to the customer and the business and will remove roadblocks, resolve conflicts, and determine actions, as well as oversee development to ensure requirements are implemented effectively within the required timeline.

Core Responsibilities:

• Represent the voice of the customer and business priorities as the Senior Product Manager
• Identify customer unmet needs and validate and segment those to a product portfolio
• Determine the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and writing requirements, appraising new product ideas from internal and external sources
• Define, plan, and manage the rollout of product features and enhancements for product initiatives
• Mentor and oversee the work of the business analysts and product owners.
• Work in a cross functional team consisting of Business Analysts, Engineering, Sales, Finance, Operations, Customer Support, and other functions to ensure successful development of beta projects and broad adoption of the solution
• Bring new products to market by analyzing proposed product requirements and development programs; preparing ROI analyses; stabling time scheduled with Engineering and Manufacturing
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops/conferences and reviewing professional publications
• Participate in new product development initiatives including new product design, documentation review, and ensuring that customers benefit from new products and enhancements

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of professional experience as a product manager
• Experience working with a development team, using Agile development processes required
• Extensive story writing and user acceptance criteria experience required
• Comfortable working with Jira/Confluence
• B2B SaaS experience strongly preferred
• Experience leading a team with demonstrated team-building experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to present to internal and external stakeholders
• Strong analytical skills and comfort with learning new technologies, systems, and applications
• Ability to learn and understand technical details and act as a subject matter expert for business processes related to hardware and software solutions
• Strong and proven problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel and work with customers during project planning, implementation, and on-site issue resolution
