Job Description:

This role will be managing Enterprise Data Quality products. 

Responsible for maximizing the value for one or more products, at the program level in a scaled Agile model. Defines the vision and roadmap for the program, defining and prioritizing the tools’ capabilities, and articulating this to both stakeholders and development teams. Works closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, and to ensure they are aligned on priorities. They support and collaborate with the Technology Manager, and the Portfolio Delivery Manager on financials throughout delivery. Is an expert of the products, business or technology domain, and the industry in which the product competes. As an expert, creates the vision and roadmap for the program based on customer requirements, industry trends, regulations, and the strategic direction for the business or technology domain. Communicates the program vision and roadmap to stakeholders, and the teams. Provides input into defining business capabilities and aligning them to products or creating new products to support them. Articulates the business value to LOB so they understand product and strategy; Ensures alignment across product roadmap to achieve portfolio objectives. Creates and prioritizes work in the program backlog; empowered to make decisions about trade-offs with emerging work versus planned work. Refines project details with each LOB client to ensure there is enough ready work for the upcoming 1-2 quarters. Reviews and accepts features/epics and is empowered to make on-the-spot decisions on scope and requirements. Works in partnership with the LOB representatives and the teams to ensure that optimum value is obtained through technology and through an advanced understanding of the business and industry trends. Partners closely with Technology and Vendor teams who own the Data Quality applications.  May lead a Community of Practice and will align to the Center of Excellence.

Job Responsibilities:

• Understand and anticipate the needs of the stakeholders and customers with ability to translate business needs into requirements.
• Act as primary communicator and liaison between the stakeholders and the team and ensure all channels of communication are open as required.
• Define strategic and tactical vision for the products. Analyze needs and align product roadmap to strategic goals.
• Ensure that the team is always working towards delivering the highest business value.
• Capture stakeholder feedback to refine existing product backlog items or create new ones for future consideration.
• Help the team prioritize risk mitigation and technical debt reduction.
• Convey the vision/objective and key results; and ensuring it is understood by all stakeholders.
• Convey the objectives at the beginning of every release/iteration and ensure it is understood by the team.
• Write product backlog items and with acceptance criteria.
• Ensure the refinement of requirements (work) occurs so that the development team can confidently commit to the completion/delivery of work.
• Continuously prioritizing and sequencing the backlog to ensure that the team can deliver the highest business value iteratively and incrementally.
• Participate in the check-ins, planning meetings, reviews, retrospective and refinement as determined and defined by the team.
• Make the work visible and transparent to the team.
• Mitigate identified risk, taking inputs from all members of the team and prioritizing risk backlog items appropriately.
• Serve as product ambassador internally and externally, sharing knowledge and answering questions.

Required Qualifications:

• 5 + years of experience in product management/development with demonstrated knowledge in product development, agile methodology and stakeholder management.

• Understanding of data quality concepts and tools.
• Familiarity with machine learning and AI concepts.
• Familiarity with Data Platforms or ETL Capabilities.

• Demonstrate experience of successful product release and subsequent user adaption.
• Understanding of business value related to features and functions.
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to effectively manage conflicting needs of stakeholders.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Experience influencing at senior levels across matrixed structures to drive outcomes. 
• Experience in using tools such as JIRA/Confluence for managing backlogs.
• Proven experience building long term roadmaps for technical products.
• Proficiency with applicable project management tools and technology.
• Strong knowledge PowerPoint and Excel. SQL knowledge is a plus.
