About the Role:

As a Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the development of our products from conception to launch. Your primary responsibility will be to define the product vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and stakeholders, to translate high-level requirements into actionable user stories and functional specifications. By leveraging Agile methodologies, you will facilitate iterative development and continuous improvement, ensuring that the final product meets quality standards and user expectations. Ultimately, your efforts will drive product success and enhance customer satisfaction in the business services industry.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role within Agile environments.
  • Strong understanding of business analysis and product management principles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner).
  • Experience with UX/UI design principles and application design.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA or Trello.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap to stakeholders and team members.
  • Gather and prioritize product requirements through user stories and use cases.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely delivery of product features.
  • Conduct regular backlog grooming sessions to maintain a prioritized list of tasks.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Skills:

The required skills of business analysis and user story creation will be utilized daily to ensure that the product aligns with user needs and business objectives. Your ability to develop a product roadmap will guide the team in prioritizing tasks and features effectively. Knowledge of Agile development methodologies will enable you to facilitate smooth project execution and adapt to changes quickly. Additionally, your understanding of UX and UI design will help you collaborate with designers to create user-friendly applications. Finally, your expertise in writing functional specifications will ensure that developers have clear guidelines to follow during the development process.
