Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced product manager to support the strategic portfolio of key principal suppliers within our specialty nutrition and food business. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing the strategies, promoting and profitably growing specific segments to achieve both corporate objectives and supplier expectations.

Job Description:

  • Manages and develops relationships with key principal suppliers, fostering collaboration and ensuring mutual growth.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams, such as sales, marketing and operations, to optimize product positioning, pricing and margin optimization.
  • Works closely with document management and regulatory teams daily to accurately setup suppliers and product codes.
  • Develops and delivers comprehensive business reports to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Acts as technical expert to provide guidance and issue resolution with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
  • Conducts comprehensive evaluations of nutrition supplier portfolio to identify potential gaps and white space opportunities.
  • Strategically manage inventory levels for assigned products to achieve overall inventory turnover target.
  • Works with IMM team to help develop and execute strategic plans for the nutrition segment, in line with corporate Brenntag goals and objectives.

Your Profile

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Business; Specialized courses covering food and nutrition industries would be considered assets
  • Previous product management, technical development or sales experience in the ingredients distribution or related industry (2-5 years)
  • Strong presentation, communication and negotiation skills
  • Advanced skills in Excel, CRM, with a strong emphasis on utilizing pivot tables for data analysis and reporting
  • Possesses strategic business acumen
  • Meticulous attention to detail and follow-up
