We're hiring for an exciting opportunity as a Product Manager within the LSEG Analytics organization! This position is to be a part of the LPC Product Management team to help build on our market-leading analytics franchises: Loan Connector, LPC Collateral, and BDC Collateral.
This role will focus on one or more of these customer-facing websites and applications. The selected candidate will be responsible for product management of one or more development teams and for converting the product vision into executable steps to guide those development teams.Β This role will work closely with other product managers to cover the LPC product offerings.
Ideal candidates will have the following:
Experienced in Agile scrum software or web development
In-depth understanding of the syndicated loan market
Expertise in CLOs and BDCs
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and technical writing skills
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
Relevant degree or equivalent work experience
Relevance with respect to either software/web development product management or to the product subject matter (syndicated loans, CLOs, BDCs) will be considered.
Proficient in Agile scrum software development methodology
Preference given to those with experience implementing or working within Agile scrum environments
Fluent in written and spoken English appropriate to a technical work environment
Technical writing samples preferred but not required
Experience in conveying complex ideas and information to non-expert audiences
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Role Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:
Lead the daily activity of development and QA teams for assigned products in conjunction with Development Management teams.
Work with relevant teams to maintain a well-groomed product backlog for each assigned product from which the development teams can reliably work.
Work with Dev & QA teams to define work for each sprint
Provide sign off for business unit on each releasable item before authorizing its release to production.
Assist in providing support for existing products, including answering questions from customer support and sales teams.
Work with more senior proposition leadership and product managers on new or legacy propositions, products and services from definition and planning through production, release, and end of lifecycle.
Translate proposition aims into clear product requirements, then work with Dev and QA teams to turn those requirements into executable product backlog items.
Deliver against work activities set by senior colleagues in the product community.
Develop specialization and expertise in product management.
Develop knowledge of assigned products and the markets they serve in order to serve as a subject matter expert.
Provide and present insight into latest industry trends affecting our product and customers.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, in-scope delivery of product roadmap.
Contribute to product knowledge sharing activities (e.g. training guides, FAQ documents) to help promote understanding of the productβs functionality both internally and externally.
Compensation/Benefits Information:
LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $73,800 - $123,000.Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/βbonus planβ). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience.
