About the Role: 

We're looking for a Product Manager to lead key areas of our CAKE POS system, driving product strategy, execution, and user impact. You’ll work cross-functionally to define roadmap priorities, launch features that solve real customer problems, and ensure our product delivers measurable business value.

As a key player in our product organization, you'll be the voice of and advocate for customers, the partner to sales and engineering, and the owner of product outcomes.

As a Product Manager located in Tampa, FL, you will play a crucial role in driving the evolution of our platform. In this role, you will: 

• Own: Take end-to-end ownership of product development, from conceptualization to delivery. 
• Define: Clearly define and articulate product strategies, roadmaps, and goals. 
• Develop: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and prioritize features. 
• Deliver: Ensure the successful delivery of high-quality products that meet customer needs. 
• Communicate: Effectively communicate product plans, progress, and decisions to stakeholders. 

What You’ll Do:

• Define product vision and roadmap for your area, aligned with company goals.
• Gather and prioritize requirements through user research, analytics, and cross-team input.
• Write clear, detailed PRDs/user stories and work closely with engineering and design to ship high-quality features.
• Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and feature reviews to ensure timely and successful delivery.
• Own KPIs for your features—analyze performance and iterate based on data and feedback.
• Partner with customer success, sales, and marketing to ensure product-market fit and successful go-to-market execution.
• Stay informed about the restaurant POS landscape and competitive trends to identify opportunities for innovation.
• Product management experience in SaaS or B2B tech, Restaurant technology.
• Proven ability to take features from idea to launch—and measure their success.
• Strong understanding of product lifecycle, Agile development, and roadmap planning.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience using tools like Confluence, Jira, Figma and the Microsoft Office suite.
• A customer-first mindset and a passion for solving real problems.
• Experience leveraging AI in the product development process is a plus.

You may be a good fit if you have these additional skills and/or educational background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
