This opportunity is for a Product Manager in the High Power / Extreme Duty Connector Team. ย Total travel is approximately 25% within US, Mexico, and Europe. ย

This Product Manager will act as a โminiโ GM driving the overall product strategy and business leadership to achieve revenue and gross margin targets that enable long-term competitiveness and success of the global Hermetics product line. ย This individual will develop and implement strategies for new business opportunities including identifying growth opportunities within key existing accounts and developing relationships with emerging customers. ย This role requires strong strategic thinking.ย

This role must closely collaborate with colleagues in Sales, Engineering, Operations and Marketing to gain cross-functional alignment and drive the successful execution of the product roadmap. ย The role will also work closely with operations to drive margin, delivery, and lead time improvements within the global Hermetics value streams in Mexico and Europe.ย

1. Marketing Sensing & Strategy Development
โขย ย ย Develop a strong technical understanding of Hermetic technology and be able to coach customers and the internal sales team on how it can be a value to their application.
โขย ย ย Research market trends, demand drivers, customer needs, industry trends, and competitor landscape.
โขย ย ย Develop a global Hermetic strategy, understand where TE adds value, and implement strategy ย ย
โขย ย ย Provide go-to-market plans for existing product offerings and new NPI products
โขย ย ย Manage the product lifecycle

2. Develop Business Plan
โขย ย ย Work cross-functionally to achieve sales, technology, operational and financial goals.
โขย ย ย Implement a Hermetic Pricing Policy
โขย ย ย Work internally to improve P&L for Hermetics
โขย ย ย Work alongside operations to put the customer first driving improvements in lead time, delivery and output

3. Execution -- New Product Development & Launch ย
โขย ย ย Create new projects for the product based on customer feedback and collaborate with the project management team to launch the product with quality/timing/cost target achieved
โขย ย ย Provide product information, training, and samples to customers and the sales team to support new product launches
โขย ย ย Provide product demand FCST input to the S&OP process
โขย ย ย Promote new products to market with the sales team

4. Execution โ Post Launch Product Managementย
โขย ย ย Troubleshoot internal and external quality and manufacturing issues with your cross functional teamsย
โขย ย ย Perform pricing, cost, and margin analysis
โขย ย ย Develop the sales FCST and check the product capacity plan
โขย ย ย Provide product information to customers, the sales team, customer service, field application engineering, etc.
โขย ย ย Responding to requests for proposals and samples
โขย ย ย Analyze excess and obsolete inventory
Qualifications:
โขย ย ย Bachelorโs Degree required, preferably in technical, Engineering, or related field
โขย ย ย Sales/Marketing/Project Management/Product Management Background are preferred
โขย ย ย 5+ years of experience in product management, sales, marketing, or project management. Relevant product or industry experience in aerospace connectors is desired. (Hermetic experience ideal but not required)
โขย ย ย Ability to quickly understand technical requirements, customer applications, and how to apply TEโs Hermetic products
โขย ย ย Operational experience with manufacturing engineering is preferable
โขย ย ย Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot internal and external issues related to the Hermetic value stream
โขย ย ย Business acumen and ability to create strong relationships with customers both internal and external
โขย ย ย Self-motivated with results-oriented way of working
โขย ย ย Demonstrated excellent communication (verbal, written, spoken) with exceptional listening skills
โขย ย ย Strong organizational skills
โขย ย ย Good understanding of cross-region culture

COMPENSATION
โขย ย ย ย Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $137,300k - $171,600k annually (subject to change dependent on physical location)
