AWS Identity teams are building secure identity, authentication, authorization, and governance systems for the AWS Cloud. As a product management leader, you will drive our product strategy, roadmap, and outbound messaging for data perimeters on AWS. Data perimeters ensure that only customer trusted identities are accessing trusted resources from expected networks, and has broad adoption among the entire enterprise customer segment. You will have end-to-end product responsibility from working with key internal customers to making roadmap tradeoffs to delivering revolutionary new features and functionality that improve experience for end-customers. The successful candidate will form a strategy that gets to the core of what customers value, set priorities that move that strategy forward, and exert influence to align diverse stakeholders. Candidates should enjoy working in a collaborative, analytical, and fast-paced environment and be comfortable interacting with highly technical cross-functional teams. Candidates should excel at diving deep into data, have strong writing skills, and be comfortable leading executive-level reviews. This is a highly strategic position that will impact the direction of AWS Identity going forward.

Utility Computing (UC)
AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations β from foundational services such as Amazonβs Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWSβs services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, youβll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

Key job responsibilities
- Work with the leadership team to set strategy, define the product, and make appropriate high-judgment trade-offs between features and speed-to-launch
- Use case prioritization, feature definition, ownership of the product roadmap, and customer segmentation
- Engage with service owners and partner teams to identify integration opportunities and drive product initiatives
- Anticipate bottlenecks, manage risk and escalations, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Proven track record of owning large cross-organizational initiatives
- Strong executive communication skills and ability to influence executive stakeholders on strategy
- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
