As a Program Manager at Xentity, you will oversee multi-disciplinary consulting and outsourced program division support for a team of 30-80 members. You’ll collaborate with senior executives to define and deliver key milestones for program delivery and transition, ensuring client and team success, effectiveness, and satisfaction. You will lead, challenge, and inspire your team while ensuring their growth and achieving impactful results.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and communicate project purpose, objectives, and value proposition to both the team and client stakeholders.
  • Proactively manage issues, risks, and obstacles to ensure team success.
  • Balance scope, schedule, and budget to optimize project outcomes.
  • Generate and manage monthly reports, meeting logistics, and documentation (e.g., meeting agendas, project deliverables, and notes).
  • Provide project management support, including publication, editing, formatting, and packaging of project deliverables.
  • Lead internal team meetings, participate in planning and strategy sessions, and manage small project tracks (2-3 team members).
  • Facilitate client-facing information gathering sessions (stakeholder interviews, etc.) and provide feedback on management strategy and processes.
  • Lead change initiatives with resilience, flexibility, and effective conflict management.
  • Apply Agile Project Management techniques and train the team for success.

Specific Requirements:

  • Lead sub-project teams of up to 20 people and ensure smooth coordination of project dependencies and critical paths.
  • Communicate effectively with client management and director-level personnel to ensure issues are properly framed for escalation.
  • Manage and influence project scope, risk, and schedule while ensuring effective collaboration in mixed team environments (company, subcontractor, client).
  • Lead project reviews and quality assurance activities.
  • Provide strategic direction for project development and proactively resolve issues to ensure project success.
  • Mentor and guide team members through the project lifecycle and collaborate with senior program management to shape strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in strategy, business, or technical consulting, with a demonstrated ability to lead teams and develop strategic vision.
  • Familiarity with Natural Resource Management, Science Mission space (e.g., NEPA), and Federal Government land/resource management policies.
  • Strong experience with high-tech, scientific programs (preferably government-related) and IT management.
  • Agile Project Management experience, PMP certification (preferred).
  • Proven track record of managing large government contracts, including staffing, onboarding, and program transitions.
  • Familiarity with FAR, compliant communication, and legal requirements (HR, EEO).
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with a focus on change management.
  • Rapid workshop planning experience (logistics, facilitation, vision building, and collaboration).
  • Must be able to travel 10-20% within the U.S., including possible travel to Alaska/Hawaii.
  • Must be able to pass basic NACI, background, drug, and reference checks.
  • Must have a home office with frequent on-site presence; no relocation assistance available.
