Job Description:

Job purpose:

Reporting to the Global Head of Surgery Business Segment, this role will have global responsibility for products within medmix Surgery portfolio. The Global Product Manager will be responsible for driving the commercial success of our product portfolio within the Surgery segment. With a customer centric approach, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, and customer support. Activities within this role will include: product development, product launch, sales and customer training content creation, marketing collateral development, sales support, product life cycle management, pricing strategies and market data analysis.

Key responsibilities:

  • Continuously collect market intelligence within the surgery industry to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
    • Analyze market data, customer feedback, and industry insights to identify opportunities for new surgery product development or new market entry.
    • Segment the market and craft tailored product strategies catering to the diverse requirements of customer segments.
  • Support commercial team to achieve revenue and profit targets for the product. Continuously perform product performance analysis including product revenue, growth metrics, and profitability to assess product success and identify avenues for enhancement.
  • Develop sales aids, value propositions and product awareness campaigns and programs on local markets to support commercial teams.
    • Support customers on product specific needs (pricing, technical and regulatory information)
  • Develop strategic pricing model to support healthy margins as well as customer-centric pricing strategies for new market development and sustainable long-term partnerships.
  • Product lifecycle management
    • Analyze Β performance metrics, customer feedback, and market dynamics to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Plan strategic updates, enhancements, or even the phase-out of products, balancing profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, engineering, sales, quality, procurement, finance and operations.

Qualifications:

Desired experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Bioengineering, Business or a related field.
  • 5+ years of product management experience in medical device or healthcare industry
  • Experience in B2B marketing and/or sales desired
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing product portfolios

Skills and competencies

  • Strong analytical skills to interpret market data, customer insights and financial metrics
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey product vision and requirements to stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders, customers, and team members.
  • Ability to influence and drive alignment across various levels of the organization, including senior executives.
  • Strong strategic thinking capabilities, with the ability to develop and execute long-term product roadmaps.
  • Ability to balance short-term and long-term priorities to meet business goals.
  • Deep understanding of the industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape.
  • Experience with regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to the industry.
