Position Summary

We are growing and are currently looking for a talented Product Manager who is driven by the voice of the healthcare market to join our team.  This role is integral in evolving the future direction of Etiometry’s product, building Etiometry’s product awareness, and helping to fuel our market penetration and growth goals.  You will be responsible for building marketing strategy, sales enablement, and tactic execution, as well as significantly contributing to the product roadmap.  As a self-starter, you will identify and communicate Etiometry’s value proposition and key messaging with sales tools, demand, and lead generation campaigns. This role represents the view from the customer, and understanding customer needs which will drive platform enhancements, new features, and enable new market entry, are vital to this position.

This position reports directly to the Chief Strategy Officer and has significant involvement with sales leadership, sales, and clinical teams, as well as interacts cross-functionally with R&D, Data Science, and implementation teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead go-to-market activities, including training sales and clinical teams on value and key messaging of product launch and new releases, release communication strategy, content creation, and campaigns. 
  • Spearhead identification of customer needs: research customers and competitors to develop a comprehensive understanding of their needs, the extent to which Etiometry’s existing product meets those needs and how the product needs to evolve to optimize its success in the market.
  • Create a roadmap for the product that aligns with business objectives, market needs, and the potential application of Etiometry’s platform and technology.
  • Coordinate with R&D team on product requirements
  • Advise and coordinate with R&D on improving specific product features and creating new features, providing the voice of the market and market requirements throughout
  • Work with Clinical team to identify defects or suboptimal aspects of the product and surface customer suggestions for remedying such aspects
  • Create and present reports to senior management on needed improvements, new features, and other findings and recommendations regarding the product.
  • Work with Director of Marketing to develop compelling and persuasive marketing content highlighting the platform differentiation, value, and ROI to buyer personas.  
  • Provide market data and inputs to prioritize the product roadmap and the strategic marketing plan.
  • Perform primary and secondary research to inform VOC, industry trends, and market strategy.  
  • Manage and support customer engagement and tradeshow events. 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 7+ years of B2B product management experience in healthcare or life sciences
  • Professional experience in a product management role with a software-based product in healthcare
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment juggling multiple concurrent projects 
  • Strategic critical thinker balancing tradeoffs to meet priorities and goals
  • Strong verbal and written communication and advocacy skills with internal and external customers, high comfort level in decision making discussions with senior management
  • Seasoned project management experience, particularly around driving implementation of a product development/evolution roadmap

Preferred Qualifications 

  • B2B Healthcare SaaS product marketing background to hospital and health system personas 
  • Critical care market knowledge 
  • Experience marketing products to clinical and IT stakeholders
  • Comfortable working with a start-up mentality 

Travel

  • Up to 25%, which may include weekends for conferences, customer meetings/events, and internal engagements.
