Digital Product Owner

Business Summary:

This position will provide the vision and direction to internal teams and stakeholders throughout the projects.  Creates requirements based on strategy developed through thoughtful discovery. Works with AAA clubs on design features and digital product information. Plans and prioritizes features for releases as they oversee the entire product roadmap.

 Duties & Responsibilities:

• Takes the lead of scrum teams as the Product Owner.
• Ensures that the team is optimized.
• Plans and works with stakeholders to prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product.
• Defines product vision, road map and growth opportunities.
• Assesses value, develops cases, and prioritizes stories, epics, and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy.
• Provides backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories.
• Works closely with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI.
• Leads the planning product release plans and set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities.
• Provides an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals.
• Researches and analyzes market, the users, and the roadmap for the product(s).
• Follows our competitors and the industry.
• Keeps abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends.
• Performs other related duties, tasks, requests and directives issued from management as required.

• Strong written and oral communication
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and be adaptable in a fast paced, dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
• In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar relevant field preferred.  Master’s degree strongly preferred. 
• Five years’ experience in digital marketing or similar. 

Hiring Range:

$80,000 - $91,000

This position is also eligible for participation in AAA, Inc.'s Annual Incentive Plan.
